McCarthy forcing the run in the red zone was very telling

Maybe we have too many speedy small targets compared to last year? TE's have been dropping passes as well. Just thinking out loud -- not sure I know what I think the issue is, but I think its too easy to say its Dak when we had the best red zone offense last year.

So how did he throw some many TDs in the red zone last year? If Moore's scheme was better in the red zone than McCarthy's then that's also not on Dak. I didn't see anyone else open did you on the INT did you? Situation called for aggressive play.
Serious question but did you watch the game?

Go back and look at the drive where he threw it to cooks in the endzone. Ceedee was wide open. He was also wide open on last week and in week 1 Dak airborned the pass over his head against the Giants. There are people open. Hes just no getting through his reads which is what @khiladi has been saying about him for years

How is it guys like you defend this garbage? Dak is not even bothering to look anywhere else. There are 3 minutes left, the situation didn’t call for an aggressive play. The situation called for protecting the ball, as theee was another play to try and not die on.

3 guys in there and he throws it
This is for all the morons that cant understand simple situational football or what they are seeing on the football field.

Mike McCarthy on the red zone struggles: “I gotta do a better job. That starts with me. They were playing high in coverage,” that’s why the Cowboys were running late

Or the morons that couldnt understand the game was already over when dak threw the pick

McCarthy is garbage. Nothing he does is telling of anything except he's a slob who snowed Jerry into giving him a job. Dude got outcoached and punked by whoever the Cardnial's coach is, who wont even have a job in the NFL in 2 years. Bet McCarthy will, though.
I couldn't all the running plays at the end of the game when we were down by 2 scores.Even if we scored a TD there would be very little time left to get the ball back and score again.

Dak hasn't attempted the deep-out pass since that near pick6 against the Jets.
Dak didn't attempt any mid-range pass against Arizona. It was all dink and dunk, and two long ones to Gallup and CeeDee.

Where is the open guy he throws to instead? Sure throw it out of the end zone and try again. That's fair. But given that Dak threw the most red zone TDs last year, I think it's just short-sighted to put the red zone problems all on Dak.

This is even better than the other video as it shows Dak from the snap and look at this. He’s looking at his same receiver from the drop.

Even the commentator points out he has TWO CHANCES to get it. He’s a mental midget.

You answered your own question, which is the person they claim was the problem for Dak, clearly wasn’t the problem. It says more about Moore than Dak.

Dak STARES down his reads, which explains his pick 6s and 15 INTs last year and this pick. This aggressiveness exemplified his flaws.

He was doing all he could to avoid passing the ball with Dak down there.

When he finally had no choice Dak threw the game ending INT.
You had 2 rookies in their first start and another playing a position he hasn’t played this year
That might have been a factor

It told me he's a mediocre OC who unfortunately is paired with an average QB. Like when he ran a weird option play on the previous red zone trip where Dak was pitching to Lamb and even the color guy was kind of perplexed by the play design.

You think he was afraid to let Dak throw but I think he believed Arizona would be thinking pass given the clock and he was going to outsmart them and run the ball and watch precious seconds tick off the clock. It was a dumb series of play calls that kind of fit with the general theme of his other dumb RZ play calls.

Dak is not the same QB who ran for 6TDs in each of his first 3 seasons.

That’s because teams put a spy on him and tthat era was predicated off the Zeke and OL era where they were running a dumbed down QB read option that was built heavily on play action.
