McCarthy forcing the run in the red zone was very telling

So did Mac Jones and he sucks too. The Jets defense was just as overrated and overhyped as ours.
Also, Dak didn’t play well against them, considering all we did against them were field goals too. We struggled in the red zone for 3 games.
Yet Josh Allen couldn't beat the Jets.

You should do more research into the Jets defense from the past year. People only called them overrated because Dak did so well against them.

I understand your argument about the redzone, but Dak, WR's and coaching all have struggled in the redzone. Dak is only a part of the equation.

Dak can't make basic reads and routinely makes bad decisions. Had the pick 6 happened last week against the Jets we could be sitting at 1-2 as that would have really swung the momentum in that game at that point. We are good to great at almost every position except QB.
Dak has 1 turnover in 3 games. Calm down.

What's even more telling is the absence of threads like this for the first two weeks.

The narrative is safe today so it's time to come out.

He was doing all he could to avoid passing the ball with Dak down there.

When he finally had no choice Dak threw the game ending INT.
Mybad….all this time I thought it was because the receivers couldn‘t get open down there as the announcers kept saying and evidenced by the final play. I also thought it might be because the backups at RG, C, and LT were all better run blockers than pass protectors.

Ive definitely seen Dak not see open receivers, but the announcers seemed to think we were blanketed most of the game. Might have been an interesting ending if we had kicked the FG on 4th and three at end of third quarter To cut the lead to 5. Plenty of blame to go around, but the defense totally crapped the bed when we thought they were finally elite.

So why did the defense allow 222 rushing yards?

When they were open Dak either didn't throw it (Ceedee running open in the end zone) or threw late (Gallup wide open in the end zone). Keep making excuses, Commercial boy is not that type of QB.
You can also cherry pick plays in the redzone where the WR's got zero separation. QB's miss open WR's all the time, that aint new.

Dak had the most TD passes in the red zone last year. So I think it is just scheme change. Wonder if they go back to some of what they were doing last year when they were #1 in red zone offense. Seems weird to go from #1 to having it be a real problem unless we really have that much offensive turnover at the skill positions that I'm under estimating that.

Daks been one of the best red zone qbs in the league for years now. I would argue the playcalling this game is too conservative. Dak had an offish game but lets look at some things ive noticed the last few years

Ceedee is not an elite route runner. He is not a burner. He is elite after the catch and going up to get balls.

Gallup cannot seperate

We have little tight end experience

The Oline was horrendous today at points.

Brandin Cooks is small as &$%#

Agree, they need to do something, this red zone O is just terrible and not getting better.

LOL

Blaming everybody but the QB once again.

The Cowboys left at least 17 points on the board because of Wak. He underthrew Ceedee on that go route. That was 7 right there if he leads him

He underthrows gallup on the one they called PI on

You sound like an emotional wreck. Why would there be threads when Dak didn’t play that bad the first two weeks? Emotions make some of you people say the most silliest things that make no logical sense.
