McCarthy forcing the run in the red zone was very telling

He was doing all he could to avoid passing the ball with Dak down there.

When he finally had no choice Dak threw the game ending INT.
The entire final drive was all runs. Why? He did not trust dak until he did and he threw a pick. McCarthy knows dak better than anyone. Dont let him pass anymore in critical situations, burn the clock when you are 2 scores down, and take the loss. Pitiful.

Good lord. I knew some excuse makers were going to try and excuse the inexcusable.
No,
The guy lamenting the loss of the olinemen while ignoring that the HC and his QB went 1 for 5 in the Redzone.

This is even better than the other video as it shows Dak from the snap and look at this. He’s looking at his same receiver from the drop.

Even the commentator points out he has TWO CHANCES to get it. He’s a mental midget.

Awful pass but also look at the other receivers. They all seem to run routes short of the end zone. LOL.

Noticed that as well...I was wondering what the hell we were doing running the ball down by 2 scores with 5 minutes left...then 3 minutes...then I was quickly reminded.
You got it. Dak the pick machine. Mike knew it and avoided it until he couldn’t and the interception machine came through. There should have been a few more picks as well and dak got lucky.

i get that, but that’s the “dumbed down” offense they wanted for this “franchise QB”. We are at the stage where things were suppose to be simpler, but it’s a trade-off. It also makes it easier for the opposing defense.

But the issue here is the Dam tendency of starting down his reads and tossing it. He should have had a pick 6 against the Jets.

This is what he said last week. It’s a comedy show.

See, I don't think it's "dumbed down" at all. I think McCarthy wants to run this stupid WCO where they run the ball and throw a lot of short stuff to churn up clock. They talked about it all offseason that the goal was to run more, likely score less points but be more efficient and rely on a defense that will force turnovers. Thinking they ran a play in a critical situation where they ran only one guy into the end zone because Dak couldn't handle something more complex is silly. It's just ******** play design from a guy who isn't all that great an OC. Now pair him with an average QB? You get what you see on the field.

You guys are in la la land if you think the only issue here is Dak.

McCarthy is garbage. Nothing he does is telling of anything except he's a slob who snowed Jerry into giving him a job. Dude got outcoached and punked by whoever the Cardnial's coach is, who wont even have a job in the NFL in 2 years. Bet McCarthy will, though.
After MM, who will be the next OC Dak get’s fired.

If it were Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers, Burrow, etc QBs they would be throwing the ball all over the place. Alex Smith, Cousins, Dak kind hand off the ball killing clock in clutch situations.

He may not be the only issue but he’s the biggest issue.

If this season goes like the previous ones, they absolutely should fire McCarthy. He's not that good. That's not an excuse for Dak who, if the season goes off the tracks again, should be looked at in the offseason as well.

But some of you are trying to convince yourselves McCarthy is really good just being ruined by Dak. He's not. McCarthy isn't a great HC/OC.

I think it's equally him and McCarthy.

McCarthy is not a great HC. There's a reason no one was knocking down his door after he got shitcanned by GB. He's overrated. But he was the perfect Jerry re-tread............. a guy looking for a good gig who would let Jerry continue to pull the strings.

Don’t shoot the messenger, as MM said Moore was too aggressive, wanted to score too much and they didn’t want Dak to be taking these risks.

As far as MM, I said this experiment is the same thing Jerry tried before with Callahan and it’s not going to work. They don’t want to change the playbook, just make him a more effective play-caller. Callahan was West Coast too and he was going into his tendencies of that, which is why Garrett kept interfering. Then they went and got Linehan, as he called plays in the same Coryell offense. The problem is, Moore was not Garrett, that he was incompetent at calling plays. And Dak is a mental midget at QB.

I said from the beginning Moore is a scapegoat.

The part of this I don't get ..... if you have no trust in your quarterback at all, if the entire focus of your offense is to make sure the guy you're paying $40 million doesn't screw it up for everyone else, how can you not draft a quarterback when one falls to your first-round spot? How can you not sign Aaron Rodgers? And then you tell everyone that you don't have a quarterback problem. At least they made the sensible trade for Lance and didn't let that go. Maybe that was the plan the whole time.
