Watching our team burn for another year is quite fun-wouldn't you say, Stephen....

If they want to just go off and start a fire, they can do it any day of the week on the show.

Some of you here clutching pearls over the media working their relationships to get access are hilarious.

This is not watergate. There is no “corruption” and these aren’t freedom of the press principles.

This is the way sports media works in every city in every country on the planet. You can find some cricket commenter in Bombay who has the club owners ear tussling with another cricket commentator who does not.

Shan and any other media person popping off do the same things, just not as effectively. They’re not some defender of the truth. They are just lower on the pole and in some ways not as good at their jobs because they *havent* cultivated that access and built those relationships.

I mean, he's not wrong. That's a glorified press release.
It’s also true. Sucks but Trey Lance is their deadline move. They have three picks they could trade and most of the guys of any value were traded from their division rivals. Wish they would have added something but I’m not seeing anything realistic out there worth the rueage. And Shan is a Commies fan. His team sucks and has actual mouthpieces complicit in covering their actual crimes

Really want to know what these rifts are and what things go on we don’t know about. It would make expectations and ideas for improvement a lot more clear.

Jerry has a TON of illicit secrets if all sorts, and they run interference for him.

Raise your hand if you're shocked.

Sounds like the Cowboys do not give access to things to sports journalists who publish things they don't like or do not want published. they likely blackballed someone over something of that sort. All sports clubs do it. You should see how the Spurs treat their media.

This is not the White House press room. The sports media is not obligated to anything from a private firm.

Whatever.

Either way they traded picks for players at a time when players could be had for money only.

Now that they can only be had for picks only, they don’t have any, other than the premium ones, which they can’t trade since that’s the only means they use to improve the team next offseason.

It’s not gross mismanagement, but along the lines of what I’ve come to expect from these two.
Tell us how Cooks and Gillmore could be had?

Jerry is getting testy.

All of the local teams are doing meaningful things in real games, but his team remains a marketing brochure that doesn't live up to the hype.

He shares a parking lot with a team on the verge of a world championship.

He tries to control the message, but that cow left the barn 28 years ago.

Shocker!

Tell the world that you think I suck and I’m not inviting you to dinner.
