We are the only fan base that could blame the QB for this performance?

that could have our QB complete 66 percent of his passes (with how many drops), throw for 374 yards, and three touchdowns on the road against the best team in the NFL...

And still assign him the most blame at the end of it.

I may leave this site because it's clear either half of you all are trolling, or Dak wronged you by not taking a picture or signing an autograph for your son. This is beyond ridiculous. It's why no one takes us seriously as a fan base.
Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Go straight to bed with your Dak blankie and sippy cup.

Fair - maybe I was too strong on the play not to get hurt. I am a man and can walk it back 100% and eat crow. Like most of us I get frustrated when we lose big games...

As I stated Dak played well and good enough to win, just the small things cost us. That is not all on him.... Steele was awful yesterday, and Gallop had a few big drops.

I really felt we were gifted a second change but Sirani's stupid play calling, and I thought we were stealing that W on the road.
Definitely agree with your second point. In my follow up post to the original, I mentioned that two-point play and him throwing it three yards short of the end zone as two that were head scratchers. I also don't get throwing to Tolbert on fourth down instead of Ferguson or CeeDee.

We were gifted a second, third, fourth, and fifth chance. It sucks. We should be 6-2 and they should be 7-2. But if our players feel the way some of our fans do, the season is lost. The thing is, we still have all of our goals in front of us. No. 1 seed, the division, a shot at the Super Bowl... all of it is still on the table.

Exactly somehow Prescott is held to a different standard than any other player in any sport ever you're not allowed to make a single mistake or you get all the blame even though you've overcome just about every obstacle you can and the deficiencies of the team.. The last three games Prescott is the reason we beat the chargers the Rams and could have beat the Eagles you saying he's not the reason we beat the Rams are you kidding me he played a great game he played as well as he can under the pressure that he was under so yeah he was the reason we won the Rams game and he was the reason we didn't lose those other games you realize we could look at it that way as well..

It took a while for the head coach and play caller to realize this conservative play calling that they had the first four weeks of the year because they thought they were gonna have one of the best defenses in the league we're very wrong it was misplaced we do not have a top five defense in this league we have a boomer bust top ten defense which allows big plays and they give us big plays but they are not stout they are not stopping teams when necessary I mean they're giving up scores every single first drive of every game and they've now started giving up scores in every first drive coming out of halftime you can't blame anybody but them for that because they can't say they're tired I mean those are the times of the game when you're the least tired..

Prescott and the offense is not putting this defense in harm's way when are they fumbling or throwing a bunch of interceptions and all this kind of crap that they say keep the defense on the field too long they are literally way underachieving on defense right now and that's why we lost that game last night that's why we lost the Arizona game and that's why we couldn't keep up with San Francisco someone needs to look at the defense they either give up big plays or they get some it's called boom or bust this is starting to look like marinelli's defenses

if they turn the ball over great they look great they keep the team from scoring on those drives but the rest of the drives they're basically are being walked down the field giving up so much time of possession and giving up easy scores both on the ground and in the air there is no other area I would look at that Defense that's 60% of our issues, the other 25% offensive line, lack of a run game and 15% is penalty's and execution by all..

Seriously if you really wanna find a single phase of our team in the three losses it is the defense #1 we could start there.. They are not who we thought they were....
They have been great at mediocre teams...

Dak played great but choked the ending. Is that really difficult to understand?

Agree - this is not the end of our season. CeeDee is a beast and very few teams have answers for him... and Fergeuson is becoming a stud. My only issue is we are hoodwinked signing Cooks and extending Gallop. We need another player to give Dak another dependable target. Our offense right now isnt set to blow the top off the defense so Cooks kind of is just there....

Here's the problem. 1/2 the fanbase refuses to acknowledge that Dak is an average QB and it's going to take an entire team to win around him. The other 1/2 refuses to acknowledge that guys like Trent Dilfer have a ring and Dak could fit that bill. Dak is nothing more or less than an average QB. He made some really nice plays yesterday that helped the team and made some stinkers that hurt the team.

It is par for the course. They are worse then the media with the agendas.

Dak threw the ball 44 times yesterday. In comparison, the Eagles let Jalen throw it 23.

That is called putting the game on a players shoulders. Yes, they came up short...on the road....vs the NFC Champs. It could have EASILY been different if they don't call an illegal formation after everyone checked in (should be investigated) or if they call the PI on the Schoon's.

I'm talking about the defense not the team on a whole they literally have disappointed me and they are seemingly getting a pass for most fans everyone's trying to find problems with everything else and not pointing out that our three losses in my opinion 60% of the issue was the defense.. They giving up way too many long drives they eat up time of possession and end up in scores they literally are not holding them the bend don't break but this is turned into a marine LED defense I don't wanna say it but marinelli you know the boomer bust the bend don't break but in this case they're starting to break if they would have held two of those drives to field goals versus touchdowns we win that game that's on the defense I squarely look back at the games that we lost this year most of it was the defense that was the problem they messed up the whole flow of the game giving up a score on the first drive and then again on the first drive out of the halftime break and also if you look back in the San Francisco game they did the same thing they gave up a quick 14 points right out of halftime you could point to some other problems in that game for sure nobody played well but in all three games the most consistent part of those losses were the defense...

Everyone blowing smoke up Dan Quinn's **** thinking he's the next guy up after Mike McCarthy better start thinking if we tear this team down he needs to go as well I want a fresh start on the coaching staff to where whoever 's hiring at the head coach gets to hire everyone...

No one is blaming Dak entirely. He was the best player on the field for us however he will continue to get the blame in clutch moments like these when he continues to do absolutely nothing besides fold.

You can have all the stats you want but it means nothing in the end when you can't step up.

Yeah, I'm Pro-Dak and believe he played a key part in those wins. But there are few games in a season where a quarterback is THE reason a team wins a game. Where they put everyone on their back and say, "I've got this." There are also few games in a season where a quarterback is THE reason a team loses a game. Assigning most blame or praise to the QB for one game is just something I don't like doing.

I agree with everything you said about the defense. It's not even that we're missing Trevon... we are, but this defense would have issues regardless. Shoot, it gave up 33 to Gardner Minshew at home last season. It has it's flaws, and is weaker than the offense at this point. If we are to get to the Super Bowl, that vaunted Cowboys defense has to come out to play. If not, we're going home before the conference championship again.

My comment was completely on the defense. They weaken by design and approach to top teams.

Like I said they're starting to remind me of rod marinelli's defenses you know where they just give up these long draining drives they called it the bend don't break defense the only difference is we lead the league in turnovers so when they do get the turnovers they cover up their own mistakes... People think when the defense gets all these turnovers for us it's aiding our offense and it's aiding in the winds no what it is is covering up their own deficiencies because it's either they get the turnover or they give up the LONG clock eating drives and then give up the score anyway and not field goals they're giving up touchdowns more times than not..

I have nothing against Dak and admire him for his leadership and character.

You couldn't ask for a better "Face of the Franchise" to always do the right thing.

I agree that if you examine yesterday's game it's hard to lay all the blame at Dak's feet but, when you look at it in context with his entire career, it's just another example of him not making the play at the end.

Jimmy Johnson used to say he wanted players that could "Sink the Eight Ball" and so far that's not Dak.

I root for Dak to succeed but, I no longer have faith he will.
