That was Aaron Rodgers supporting his new teammate in Zach Wilson. As for Dak, Rodgers has no investment to give any kind of praise to Dak other than stating the truth how he really likes Dak's performance as of late and why.
Rodgers' comments on Prescott's play was not only spot on, but insightful on how NFL quarterbacks have to continually study, adjust, and implement changes as the season goes along to counteract opposing defenses viewing film of prior games.

Dak "hater" here: I don't disagree with ONE word Rodgers said. I have always maintained that Dak is plenty smart and can read defenses. To me, that is his STRENGTH.

His weakness has been streaky accuracy and nervousness to trust his arm in big games. The one point the Orlovsky's of the world have is that Dak doesn't consistently elevate his team against good teams in big games. That's been the knock. And to me that has to do with Dak's confidence in himself. His confidence was visibly shaken after the SF loss...but has it been restored? Can he face his demons?

Steve Young was PLENTLY talented. But he became "that dude" when he balled out in a SB. Same with Manning. Same with Rodgers. They all had to face down the big game question.

This is Dak's THIRD crack at it. Just sayin'...

Playerspeak from Rodgers.
Just came on to the team and replaced Wilson as the starting QB - whose first two seasons in the league have been rough.
Encouraging words from a teammate that could help young Wilson get his career in gear. (Appears it didn’t help as of late.)
So you are saying he is not truthful?

So if its about someone else, he is a complete liar but if it is praise regarding Dak, he is the most honest person in the world... got it. He also said our HC was a football idiot basically,, sure he was lying about that one too since you like MM.

I REALLY feel and have felt and said it many times on this site over the past few years....Dak was held back by the system. For the great stats they rolled up, against defenses that could match our personell, they got whooped. You are see ing that play out now with the Chargers. It wasn't a cohesive, proven system of offense. It was an amalgamation of ideas rooted in Air Coryell principles.

Now he is in a proven Championship system with TWO proven offensive minds in his ear. Not his peer who has done less than him.

This isn't a surprise and what I expected. I was unimpressed up to the SF and was disheartened with the SF game. Since then, it has been what I envisioned for him and this offense.

You live in the suburbs of Houston. Aren't you a Texans fan?

I do see more of the Air/Norv offense reincorporated with some west coast principles...sprinkled with some new motion and sprint plays. The good news is that - when Dak has a cohesive line - he can make all the throws. But can he do it in big games? Consistently?

I do and I can't stand the Texans.. I am not from Texas though. I have been a Cowboys fan since 1975 when I fell in love with the shiney helmets at 5 years old... but I don't see what that has to do with anything in this post.
Because you don't support this team. Makes one wonder.

Also, I do think it's odd that it's Aaron Rodgers giving us this praise...and not Tony Romo who kept emphasizing "how much time Dak has to throw...that's why they can win the SB...".

While I have my doubts about Dak, I've always noticed Romo can NOT be objective about Dak leading the Cowboys. He'll heap praise on Cooper Rush before Dak.

I get it. Dak is smashing your ex...
