Ferguson's on a 65-705-7, 10.8 yards per catch pace in his 2nd year in the league and 1st as the starter.

The best year Schultz had in Dallas was his 4th year in the league and 2nd as the starter in 2021 when he put up 78-808-8, 10.4 yards per catch. The other years would fall short of what Ferguson is on pace for this year.

We're basically getting the same production already out of the TE position in a seamless transition from the veteran Schultz to the 1st year starter Ferguson.

So doesn't mean that he's not already Schultz at his best since he's on pace for 13 catches and 103 yards less than Schultz's best? Not saying he isn't on his way to being better than Schultz, but just that the numbers show he's not Schultz at his best yet.

Nice to see you put up a serious comment. You should do more of that.

We love to waste 2nd rounders. Ferguson showed plenty last year to where we didn’t need to waste a premium pick on a TE.
Lol, I love reading these posts. What else should they do and what would they do if Ferguson somehow got hurt playing football?

Been very surprised by Ferguson. Happy I was wrong!
