It is a fact that in the 10 games in which ACC teams played against SEC teams, the ACC won 6 games and lost 4. It is merely an opinion that this makes the SEC a weaker conference.
Both sentences are absolutely correct. Not enough evidence in addition to being an uncontrolled experiment.

Well, the SEC has a funny way of showing their dominance, by losing.

Losing conference gets in, with a 1 loss champion, Winning conference is left out with an undefeated champion.

The selection is not serious, the goal is not to consider who the winners on the field are, the goal is something else. Prop up the SEC, while maximizing TV ratings, and keep Nick Saban happy.

College Football is a fraud.

If winning teams from one conference beat losing teams from another conference that doesn't mean one conference is better than the other.
Winning teams are winners, they get a W
Losing teams get the L

Losing teams are not outliers in a comparison of conferences, because they lost too often, and lost to the ACC!!??? What sense does that make?

That's the point of having a record. This is so fundamentally basic, it's disappointing that something so simple has to be explained. Speculation, double talk, unnecessarily lengthy explanations are essential when fraud is happening. "4 best teams" is intentionally subjective, speculative and must be in the lexicon of corrupt people in power trying to cover up a max profit motivation, bribes, who knows what else. All of this is at the expense of those who are undefeated champions from the conference with a better winning record head to head.

College Football is a brazen fraud, that conclusion has never been more clear than now. Occam's razor.

You forgot to mention - and also lost their starting QB which doesn't make them one of the 4 best teams in the nation.

"4 best teams, ignoring records and winning conference ACC head to head. Also, rating the SEC based on previous years, excluding 2023. Also, ignoring that Bama, at home was 4 points away from losing to 1-7 in the SEC Arkansas, with their #1 QB, they barely escaped. Questionable officiating in that game, too. SPECULATION, DEFYING W-L RECORDS of 4 best teams, the REGULAR SEASON DOESN'T MATTER!!!! "

So, if Michigan Washington or Texas loses their QB due to practice injury, then FSU is in? What about any player on the roster? (Bama never deserved it and should be removed anyway) The CFP has made themselves liable if that happens due to a crazed fan, legally.

Does the NFL remove playoff teams when a QB goes down? No, because it is about the team, not one player. Next man up....

"4 best teams" is an essential, precious phrase to the Corruption for Profit CFP fraud. It covers up their true intent.

You have brought this up multiple times and it is as ridiculous now as the first time you mentioned it. It certainly isn't logical. It is based purely on emotion. Players are not bigger targets now than at any time previously to crazed fans wishing them harm.

The point is, that injuries MUST BE ignored when it comes to playoffs. That needs to be stricken from the criteria, not the ultimate criteria. It is about a team that continues on, next man up, wins with a 3rd string QB. They earned it.

Did the Eagles get removed from the Super Bowl, because they had to go with Nick Foles, instead of Carson Wentz? ( I feel sick even bringing up the Eagles, see what you made me do? )

Was Ohio State removed from the 2015 Championship, NO... they ultimately won the National Championship with a 3rd string QB! FSU has been deprived of that possibility of a story. THEY EARNED IT.

This year breaks precedent, just to appease Nick Saban, make money for the networks, and pretend like CORRUPTION is fair.

Nathan. You are becoming unhinged.

Clearly the NFL and college football have different rules and methods for making the playoffs. Comparing them is a complete waste of time.

And Ohio State won their championship game 59-0 with their backup QB. The committee didn’t have a choice but to put them into the playoffs.
I guarantee you if FSU beat Louisville 59-0, they would definitely be in the playoffs right now. Instead, they turned their championship game into a punting competition.

BTW…..if college football is corrupt and a scam…. I take it that you will no longer be watching it?

I barely get to watch FSU, and I like the team. So.... probably no, won't be watching. I most certainly will NOT watch the playoffs. But who cares about what I watch, or don't watch? It won't make a difference to the money counters. When powerful people stomp on those who are in their jurisdiction with undeniable bias, it's just so infuriating.

And since the defense of forcing Bama into the playoff has become indefensible, here's some basic facts I have uncovered, about the not football related issues. Follow the money.
Disney owns ESPN and profits from the matchups and the talk surrounding the playoffs. Follow the money.
Disney owns the SEC and profits from their inclusion. Follow the money.
Disney owns ESPN - Bet. They set lines on games for any purpose they choose, profit or PR. Follow the money.
Disney has a major dispute with the governor of FL. Follow the money.

I wish that college football and the playoff was just about football. It is NOT just about football.

Apparently you just started following college football this season. Or you just didn't care until it impacted a team you were a fan of.

Ok, I thought that college football was about the games on the field, didn't know so many fans knew that they were being manipulated, and just simply don't care anymore. Great.

Oh, the College Football Playoff (Corruption for Profit) comment feature has been shut down. I didn't know there was such a thing. Oh well, guess they are tired of hearing the truth about themselves and their self-serving decisions. They probably went to their next vacation... and could not find a way to care less about the Seminoles they just robbed, as they plan how to spend their payoff money.

Don’t watch then. I for one think they got it right. Casual fans like yourself look only at the win column and nothing else. FSU has looked bad in their wins and are playing with a backup QB. They had an extremely easy schedule and were way down in the strength of schedule rankings.

Does it matter that the ACC won head to head against the SEC this year 6 - 4 ? Does it matter that the ACC has 11 bowl wins, while there were only 9 bowl eligible teams in the Big 12, Big 10, and the WEAKER SEC?

THIS IS NOT A PLAYOFF SYSTEM, IT IS THE ALABAMA INVITATIONAL, BECAUSE BAMA GETS IN WHEN THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT WHEN THEY HAVE ONE LOSS. Bama did NOT do everything to win, by the FACT that they have one loss to Texas. Beating an SEC team, who collected many wins from a weaker conference when measuring head to head and by bowl eligible teams, that win does not catapult them ahead of the undefeated, stronger conference champion.

Bottom line: Saying that Bama deserves to be in the playoff is INDEFENSIBLE, no one can defend it. Fans need to realize they are being entertained through the Alabama invitational for profit, not watching a playoff, the winner is merely the winner of the invitational, not the national champion. There will be NO NATIONAL CHAMPION for 2023 season, deal with it. Let's recap.

SEC bias in a year when the ACC beat the SEC 6 -4 and has more bowl eligible teams,11 than 9 bowl eligible for the Big12, Big10, or the WEAKER SEC. FSU beat #5 LSU on the road early, and Florida on the road w/ FSU's #2 QB. Bama did NOT do everything to win, by the FACT that they have one loss to Texas. FSU won their ACC Championship with a 3rd string QB by double digits. How does an undefeated ACC champion lose out to the 1 loss weaker SEC champion, who barely beat out Arkansas at home with Bamas 1st String QB, by merely 3 points, 1/3 of the margin of victory that FSU had beating a top 15 team while starting their 3rd string QB. CFP is officially an SEC proxy, co-owned with ESPN by Disney. CFP is an abbreviation for Corruption for Profit. Disgusting ruling, compared to the heart of a champion FSU displayed all year on the field. Results matter, put FSU in, and remove Alabama. Ohio State should be # 5, they lost to the current #1 Michigan. If not, Corruption for Profit is telling all of college football that the regular season is irrelevant without a payoff to them. If any playoff QB gets injured in practice, then FSU takes their place? What sense does that make, and should never be a criteria for the playoffs. FSU maintained their rank, #4 (#3 when you realize Georgia didn’t earn it). CFP is legally liable for additional security on every QB in the playoff, their foolish decision has placed a bounty on every QB in the playoff between now and the first game. Without removing Alabama, this years invitational winner is disqualified due to CFP incompetence… call it the Alabama invitational because it most certainly is NOT a playoff. The talking heads don't feel bad for FSU, they are lining their pockets for being biased toward Bama and the SEC. Florida State Seminoles, the heart of a champion!!!

That is a lot of words for only repeating the same thing over and over.

Does 6-4 matter? It does, but only a little. It doesn't mean the ACC if better than the SEC. It does mean South Carolina was not a good team as they were involved in two of those SEC losses.

Florida State beating LSU was a good win. It is a bit disingenuous to say FSU won on the road. It was a neutral site game played in Orlando, Florida. It was more a home game than road game.

There are 6 SEC teams ranked in the top 25 with 3 ranked in the top 10. There are 3 ACC teams ranked in the top 25 with 1 ranked in the top 10.

Call it what you want, playoff, scam or whatever, at the end of the day the majority of fans and people will be calling whoever wins the champion and that will not be FSU.

Don‘t become bitter over something you can’t control and just enjoy the games. Best day of the year is Jan. 1st.

I'm surprised so many people know that they are being manipulated, they are deprived of seeing an actual playoff, or an underdog show some mettle and persevere to a championship, and these people just go along with it. Everyone is just so numb to doing things right, correctly, honestly, with integrity. College Football abandoned those cumbersome principles, and people just give a shoulder shrug. They are going to keep fleecing people. Well, they're not going to fleece me.

No matter what happens, no matter how many people go along with it, there is NO NATIONAL CHAMPION for the 2023 season.
