Good point.Yeah the opposition is used to playing in that weather, y'all getting all worked up over this loss which is saw coming a mile away. You are right were are a finesse team just like all dome teams, name me one grimey hard nosed dome team? Even the ones that have won SBs have been finesse we are no different. Manning's Colts, Brees Saints, Warner's Rams all finesse teams and we are no different.
They didn't just lose. They didn't show up. If they would have lost a competitive game I wouldn't think much of it. This is the 3rd time this year that the Cowboys didn't show up to play.Nobody thought Dallas was gonna win. I remember the board preparing to have threads for firing MM and getting rid of Dak. No talking head picked Dallas to win.
Lol, you are so funny. Not me...YOU....... .....28 years of no show is good for you?? Take a bow......Some people just love to be Losers...
What if Dak didn't overthrow Cooks,or the roughing the passer isn't called, or Williams gets the block. 1 play with a different result and all of a sudden we have a different ball game. At least we aren't the Eagles. They didn't just lose. They didn't show up. If they would have lost a competitive game I wouldn't think much of it. This is the 3rd time this year that the Cowboys didn't show up to play.
They just need to go 2 and 1 with a win over Washington. The poor Eagles have to win out if that happens. It might even work out better if the Cowboys are the 5 and the Eagles are the 2. The Eagles can lose to anybody.Good point.
Looks like we better figure out how to gain home field for the playoffs if we ever want to advance very far.
Yes, in September in the rain. The Eagles have lost 3 in a row in December and the Cowboys haven't lost 2 in a row in over 2 years.in September?
They showed up but got whipped. It happens. The mighty 49ers got whipped at home by Bengals. The Eagles got whipped 4 weeks in a row. It’s football. Dallas whooped everyone at home but Seattle. They didn't just lose. They didn't show up. If they would have lost a competitive game I wouldn't think much of it. This is the 3rd time this year that the Cowboys didn't show up to play.
Apologists gonna apologize. Your continual defense of what the Cowboys have been under the Jones boys for over 25 years reeks of desperation.A little off on the Jimmy math and the other math. Not many teams? 13 have never won a Super Bowl and quite a few have only won 1 and that is in 57 years.
Not many teams have won 12 games the last 3 years in a row. Crybabies are gonna cry.
If this...if that. What if Dak didn't overthrow Cooks,or the roughing the passer isn't called, or Williams gets the block. 1 play with a different result and all of a sudden we have a different ball game. At least we aren't the Eagles.
This is the biggest load a bull **** I have ever seen. The weather or being outdoors had nothing to do with bell at 215lb safety playing lb getting run over by 310 lb linem
This team is not built to stop power run games but is built to pass rush and defend the pass just like all other successful dome teams were built. If we had linebackers that were 250 pound thumpers sure we'd be able to stop the run better but the backs out of the backfield and tight ends would have y'all on here complaining about pass coverage. This team is built to run through our pass offense setting the table for our defense i.e. playing with a lead. This is the biggest load a bull **** I have ever seen. The weather or being outdoors had nothing to do with bell at 215lb safety playing lb getting run over by 310 lb lineman
They also played in an open roof stadium which allowed for rain wind and cold conditions. In my OP I listed the stats on successful dome teams (dome teams that made the SB) again out of the 20 games they played to get there they only played 2 outside and those 2 had good weather. Like it or not it is not an excuse but a reason. We ain't winning nothing by going through Philly we must win the division.More excuses for this buttery soft team. Come on. They are not that good. Never heard the 92-95 team use weather as a reason they lost games. Christ they won the nfc championship in sf in quagmire.
Soft mindset. Jerry lets them off the hook everytime because it looks bad getting whipped
THIS!!!!!!Three are Jimmy's . 2 are Tex and Landry's. Jerry by himself???? 0 for 28 years.....Not to many teams out there 0 for 28 years...Three years straight after 10 years of 8 and 8. REALLY
Take a look at the bolded. No where is the mention of Mike McCarthy. That has been the issue with the Dallas Cowboys for 28 years. Jerry runs everything.Jerry needs to understand he's produced a top 5 team and it lacks a couple pieces to get over the top.
Those couple pieces will show up more and more in the coming weeks.
The 49ers or Bill's would have handed us our butts at home or on the road.
What if...what if ... The Cowboys weren't winning that game with the Bills running up and down the field on them. What if Dak didn't overthrow Cooks,or the roughing the passer isn't called, or Williams gets the block. 1 play with a different result and all of a sudden we have a different ball game. At least we aren't the Eagles.
There must be a better way to vent anger than violating an 81year old figurehead GM. There is plenty of blame to go around. An aging offensive line that doesn't match up with the more aggressive defenses. A run stopping impaired defensive line. A good but not great linebacker group. Little quality or experienced depth to replace injured or ill players at key positions. It seems we routinely struggle against competitive AFC teams. They just seem to have more physical players that don't hesitate to punch you in the mouth. It's team management by committee these days and besides Jerry, Stephen, McCarthy, Schottenheimer, Quinn, McClay all have a hand in this. On the positive side, we have notched going into the playoffs. If we can beat the Dolphins that may help our prospects of winning more games in the post season. Most definitely everyone is sick of so many post season fades.First of all...they played in the same weather. Secondly...it didn't start raining to the 2nd half...Screw Jerry! He's the reason for our season.
The Eagles have won 1 Super Bowl in 57 years. The Eagles have lost 3 consecutive games. The Cowboys haven't lost consecutive games in over 2 years. If this...if that.
You're right, we're not the Eagles. They've played in 3 Super Bowls in the 21st century and won one. We've won 4 wild card games.
But hot damn, the 70s and 90s sure were fun.
Please....Jerry wasn't old in the late 90's and early 2000's....He needs to step down. He's killed this team for nearly 30 years. FACT!!!! But it's your opinion. Hope you're right. There must be a better way to vent anger than violating an 81year old figurehead GM. There is plenty of blame to go around.
