Saturday NFL Games Thread

I cannot imagine the Cowboys in this type of weather game and winning….lol. This is what playoff football becomes at some point for many teams. Can you grind out a win playing defense, field position, low-scoring.

How in the world did the Steelers win 10 games this season? Kudos to Mike Tomlin. Impressive work.

Really so explain the Steelers winning.
The Steelers have a better defense and a better run game with Jackson not playing. This game was not about the pass8ng game due to the weather. The Steelers won because they hit on 1 big play, consistently ran the ball, and the Ravens RBs fumbled, which they’ve done all year. What part of the game could the league control? Unless every player is also part of the setup, like wrestling, there’s nothing here to explain.

Amen. They won them just like this for the most part, playing great defense and grinding it out. Their losses mostly came when offenses found ways to score on them.

It’s funny that Steelers fans were (are?) ready to run him out of town.

Somehow Pittsburgh can still be the 6th seed if Buffalo and Jags lose. Steelers @ KC would be some quality playoff football :muttley:

In 10 wins, Pittsburg allowed an average of 15.6 points.
in their 7 losses, they allowed an average of 24.
If they ever figure out how to get any consistent offensive play, they’ll be back at the top again.

Steelers need some help still. I hope it all works to where the Bills miss the playoffs entirely!

All they need is a QB. Kirk Cousins would be a perfect fit.

I would also add that pulling the starters either before the game and the rest before that play probably factored into it quite a bit but again the NFL does not force the Ravens to pull their starters.

Just how hard were the Ravens trying and how many starters did they rest?
Not sure this game means much at all

According to the ESPN playoff simulator, the Steelers can get it if either the Bill or Jags lose.

EDIT: Nevermind, you said “sixth seed.”
