Saturday NFL Games Thread

They started no starters and weren't trying
I mean they had a couple for the first half but by the second half there was no one playing of note. I think at one point they brought back in one of their starting LBs for a few plays when one of their backups got hurt.

Good news for Watt that it might only be a sprained MCL.

Can he play next week on a sprain?
If they have a next week, which is still unlikely to be honest.

Just to note it would be kind of unlikely that he could pull it off but crazier things have happened.

A "grade 3 sprain" is a fancy way of saying a torn MCL. If the MRI shows that he'll be heading for surgery.

It's all about the grade of a sprain. Grade 3 is the worst type.

Dak vs CJ Stroud rookie seasons

Dak: 3667 yards 23 TDs 4 INTs

Stroud: 3844 yards 21 TDs 5 INTs

Very comparable stats, both had great rookie seasons. Of course Stroud is about to play his 17th game which rookie Dak didn't have, but Stroud even missed a couple of games.

He was hurt this year this will only be his 15th game started

Oh its certainly not good news but if it were a torn ACL he not coming back next year either.

Yeah but since Dak didn't play 17 he will end up playing only one less game. Dak was offensive rookie of year and Stroud likely will be too.

I mean the thing with the Texans is that their roster is horrible. It is one of those things that makes people impressed by him because nobody was expecting the Texans to be competitive.

I'm not so sure the Cowboys were a passing team in 2016. Or at least they leaned heavily on Zeke and the run game.

I thought they've had an underrated receiving core but they've had some injuries there too.

The update about Watt will likely out midmorning tomorrow.

The cowboys rejects of Noah Brown and Dalton Schultz :muttley:
Brown has been better than he was for the Cowboys, but they've had Robert Woods who is out tonight, but also lost Tank Dell for the season who looked pretty good.

Edit: Noah Brown is also out tonight.
