Saturday NFL Games Thread

What did I just see?
Feet out of bounds and touch the ball? Haha

Charlie Kolar is a TE I liked in the draft, Baltimore took him right in front of us and we got Ferguson. I believe Baltimore even traded to get in front of us to take Kolar.
So far this year Kolar has five receptions and one TD. Ferguson has 65 catches and nearly 700 yards. Sometimes things just work out.
That's why I kind of laugh when we talk about this team or that team being good at drafting. There's a whole lot of luck involved. Knowing what we know now, we would have ended up with a corner instead of Parsons. We definitely lucked into Lamb and might have drafted DE Klavon Chaisson if we had not.

Someone takes the tight ends you were eyeing and sometimes it works out, like with Ferguson, and sometimes it doesn't, like with Schoonmaker so far.

If a player is out of bounds and touches the ball the ball is out of bounds that how it has always been
Never seen a player do that before.
A rule that doesn't make sense IMO.
The direct opposite of a player going out of bounds on any other play, but cannot be the first player to touch the ball, recover a fumble, or catch a pass before definitely establishing himself back on the field.

Yep and how can we forget about missing out on Paxton Lynch and then again with Connor Cook?
Guess we had to settle for Dak. lol
Too much credit or too much blame are both undeserved. Sure, your guy's have still got to pick them in each round, but it's hard to say they wouldn't have made the wrong pick or the right pick based on who has been taken. There were plenty of wrong picks we could have made before ending up with Dak and thankfully we ended up with him because of other teams making those wrong picks instead.

TJ watt is the best defensive end in the league. Micah has his flashes, but we've seen him wear down towards the end of the year yet again. He just doesn't have the frame to be a full time d end.

It's amazing tj watt lasted until the 30th pick, especially considering how successful his brother was at the same position

I'll take Micah. Watt doesn't get the attention Micah does with double teams and he definitely doesn't get held as much and when he does he'll probably get the call.

Is Dan Orlovsky going to say "Steelers need to get the ball to George Pickens" every three minutes during the rest of the game until it happens?
Dude - give it a rest.
