The Cowboys met their initial goal of winning the division. Even if we can thank the Egirls for a total collapse down the stretch and one of the most idiotic coaching decisions attempting 2 point conversions .

In the end we had to win 12 games and we did it for a franchise record 3 consecutive seasons . With that we are rewarded at least 2 ( if necessary)playoff games at home .

I think most would agree this seasons success pends on finally reaching our first championship game appearance since 1995 season. Anything short of that especially playing at home will be considered another disappointing and frustrating ending.

We will be favored and expected to hold home court regardless who our opponents are . We are undefeated at home this season and have longest current home winning streak in NFL.

It’s finally time for this team to meet their expectations playing their best ball on the biggest stages ending an almost 3 decade narrative of no championship game appearances .

Agreed. If we aren't playing in San Francisco in a few weeks, it'll be disappointing. I feel like we got on the right track yesterday in the second half and we should be firing on all cylinders now. Outside of getting healthy from some injuries, we should be sitting well for a deep run.

+1 ........We couldn't have asked better ending to the season other than #1 seed but more importantly, we are healthy and finished strong. Hell, even the running game kicked up a notch Sunday.

PS......Rico should be a huge part of game planning ( just a many touches as TP, if not more)

hopefully SF gets upset along the way and we get three home games

Excellent post.
It's there for the taking.
Will our boys rise to the occasion?
Or shrink like in 2007?
It why they play the games.

I’m more encouraged after our performance yesterday . And while I think we should be a tough out we are also vulnerable with some weaknesses.

But this team has played much better at home so that provides me some confidence .

Yep, my concern is if we advance to San Francisco on the road.
YIKES!!!!!

100%. They need to beat a young GB team and either Detroit, Philly or LA, none of which are super teams AT HOME. No excuses!

Not sure why so many are happy with a CCG, as for yesterday all that proved is they are very good against the very bad.

It’s not about being happy it’s about finally putting to rest the monkey on this franchise’s back not to mention all of the negative narratives that we haven’t reached a champ game in 3 decades.
