Twitter: AP All-Pro Rankings - Nine Cowboys

I count 8 total All Pros :omg:
Nine. Lamb, Martin, Bland and Aubrey first team; Prescott, Tyron Smith, Tyler Smith, Parsons and Anger second team.

If I counted right, San Francisco had six, but five were first-team, and Baltimore also had six total. Philly had three.

Of course, having two special-teammers make it inflated our numbers over the others.

Here are the All-Pro Cowboys:
  • 1st Team
    • CeeDee Lamb
    • Zach Martin
    • DaRon Bland
    • Brandon Aubrey
  • 2nd Team
    • Dak Prescott
    • Tyron Smith
    • Tyler Smith
    • Micah Parsons
    • Bryan Anger
The only "true shock" to me is Anger. I mean, he's great when he does punt, but he only punted 44 times this year (~2.5 per game). Talk about making it big with not a ton of effort.

You win some, lose some. It’s a crap shoot when it comes to players and their desires.
I would have kept him after his preseason showing the year we traded him, but we were in fairly good shape at corner and badly needed offensive line help. The trade turned out to be a bad one, though, because the line help we got didn't help.

Last time for this -- Bobby Wagner wanted to go back the Seattle. He wasn't coming here.
I think they are discussing when he was released by Seattle and went to LA. Many rumours were that Quinn wanted him.

Anger was second in the league in net average (44.9) and actually beat Cole in average (51.4 to 50.4) although it should be noted that Cole kicked 15 out of bounds to 2 for Anger.

How about freaking out about our kicker up through the PS?! Don’t we look silly now!

I was one of the idiots sounding the alarm over Aubrey.

Everything I saw from training camp indicated he was struggling. I suppose he just needed a second to settle in.

8 Cowboy All-Pros! Not too shabby.

Congratulations to #4 Dak Prescott!
Huge rebound season.
Charvarious Ward made 2nd team. Remember him?
Never understood why they cut him. By all accounts he had a good camp and had all the measurables the team covets. He almost immediately went on to start for KC that season. By the following season, he was being talked about as one of the better CBs in the league. Definitely one that got away.
