Well, I'm not running a business here, and I don't claim to have all the answers.

But I don't have to know how to make a Beef Wellington to know I don't want to eat dog **** either.

We got next to no production from our '23 draft. Even on a stacked team, there ought to be SOME productivity from SOME of the players we drafted.

I somewhat agree, while some few of these picks may well come on over the next couple of years. Hopefully Mazi will improve, wedont really know what we have. The Joneses always say - the first 3 picks should start/contribute. Not much at all this year, and most of our lower round picks are all on the practice squad.
McClay does not make the picks for Dallas, he presents the options, they make the final call.
I don't hold him responsible for this year's low effort.

To actually think that the season was lost by McClay because of the draft class... you're joking right? Believing that rookies have a big impact in their first season is foolish. If a team has to depend on rookies, then the team is terrible to begin with. This team is lacking in leadership from the top. Not the bottom.
