One of the Cowboys media or “content creators” on Twitter suggested Belichick bring Jon Gruden as an OC.

Unique circumstances make this possible.Gruden screwed up and has been quietly working his way back. He’s been a consultant with the Saints.

Gruden isn’t the young offensive mind like Shanahan, McVay, McDaniel BUT he’s an innovative playcaller who has a real identity, unlike McCarthy and Kellen Moore.

Jerry wouldn’t be overly concerned with any negative PR or backlash for hiring Gruden, especially in an OC role. Belichick runs the defense and sets the overall culture of the team. Gruden calls the offense. McClay picks the players. Everyone in a position of strength.

We would get to see plenty Spider 2 Y Banana plays at least with Gruden lol

It won't make a difference. Surely coaching, game plan, leadership etc. matter.

Count me in as a proponent of new approach, clean canvas, young coach with new ideas who has already done something. Not like Garrett. I want a Mike Tomlin or John Harbaugh type guy that brings a new philosophy. Whoever that is, I accept.

I’d also add… will get on officials after games…. I’ve always said it. They are scared of Bellicheck cause they know he has high praise in league offices. Plus he knows the rules better than anyone.
