Sadly , you’re probably right , but usually jerry has to sacrifice someone . Maybe Quinn will go anyway .
I'd bet that Quinn will resign, this game was one he'll never be allowed to forget, a first-time playoff qb with a perfect rating? PERFECT.

Can't live that down, he's been exposed....

It's not that simple.

Do you honestly believe Dak could handle the extreme criticism tom Brady had to deal with?
Some people thrive under that type of environment but I bet good money Dak would most likely crumble.

Why bring that type of coach here?

Dak needs a yes man type of coach
It is that simple. Dak already stinks with "yes men" head coaches. So bring in one who isn't a "yes man" and see what happens. If he crumbles, then he just stays the same.

If MM gets fired perhaps Pete Carroll or Sean Payton could be good replacements. Belichick maybe because he would focus on the defense.

obviously, we're all fired up, Jerry probably is too.

but he will not make a change. Things will slow down, he will wait for the fury to settle, and he'll keep Mike for one more year. This is the JG playbook. He justifies it to himself because he doesn't need to sign a new contract and can pretend he's putting pressure on the coach to win, when what he's really doing is avoiding the hiring and firing process because he is more than happy with the status quo
I might be in the minority here, but feel there has been too much "pressure" on McCarthy to win. Ultimatums are rarely effective in the workplace; how uncomfortable to go into the playoffs being informed - either directly or indirectly - that you're playing for your job. Makes it hard to concentrate on your job.

Quinn was already in La-La Land over his future job prospects. Dak's mind, on what Stephen A. was going to say about him on Monday morning, and McCarthy dealing with the ghosts of Packers-past.

The Cowboys went into this game quite obviously nervous & "tight" - just like they do every year. As opposed to the Packers, who were just happy to be there, and played like they were having fun. In hindsight, it was all part of a recipe for today's disaster.

Im torn on this.

With Beli, we would see improved run defense and he will prioritize good DTs

On the other hand, i absolutely hate his offensive assistants and think we will regress even more on that side of the ball.

And we all know he has been bad when hes had bad qbs
Bring in BB as DC only......maybe at 72 he still wants to coach but not be a head coach...

Harbaugh or Bellichick. We need a culture change here. A player friendly, buddy, buddy coach isn't going to cut it. These guys show up against cream puff teams, but there's no toughness there. Like teams that aren't even that good, if they show some physically, destroy the Cowboys. We're a finesse team that melts away when the going gets tough.

Isn't it weird that we all know nothing will change no matter who the coach is, see Jerruh, but here we are wanting to see heads roll. Mindless sheep, me included, so frustrating.

There is no hope with a different HC. It really doesn't matter here. We have a good season, people build us up, we **** the bed in the playoffs. HC, QB -- doesn't matter. As long as the Jones's own the team, this is what we'll get
The only correct answer. Nothing else matters as long as Jerry is around.

I'd really like a new ownership with a capable FO, instead of a family-controlled team with pretenders as its leadership. That's just a starting point.
Of course, that's just wishful thinking. Other than that, we'll likely be stuck with what we have. Get used to it. A bunch of new coaches won't help.

I have no idea what it might take to turn this team around and neither does Jerry and Stephen. That's the long and the short of it.
