You can think what you want but you’re dead wrong. I’ve criticized Dak many times and have lost confidence in him like most fans but I’m not moving on from him until I find a better option. It’s quite annoying when most fans here bash him and pretend that he sucks. Emmitt Smith was critical of Dak the other day and was asked today what he thought of him. He said what I and many others have said, the Cowboys won’t find another QB better and that’s the problem. It’s not like there’s a Patrick Mahomes sitting out there available. I was critical of Romo but I wasn’t going to move on from him until we found a better option. If it was up to some of you the Cowboys would be stuck with nothing at QB. If you think it’s bad being knocked off in the first round of the playoffs, just imagine not making the playoffs year after year because you don’t have a good enough QB. Every season you’re having to play musical chairs at QB trying to find an answer. I’ve been there with the Cowboys and it was a miserable experience.

2. 28 yards - Punt (only time we stopped them)
3. 19 yards - TD (after INT)
4. 93 yards - TD

First two possessions of the 2nd half:
1. 75 yards - TD (5 plays)
2. 75 yards - TD (in only 3 plays lol)

Our defense completely collapsed during this game. It was an absolute embarrassment. GB could have scored 60 on us if the game had been a shootout. I am not sure we win this game even if we had Mahomes at QB.

Obviously Dak is also to blame. He has consistently choked in the playoffs. But I don't get how anyone can ignore the terrible performance by our "top ranked D" and our "superstar" OC.

I wonder if OP thinks Mahomes is getting too much credit right now after winning the MVP of the Super Bowl which a QB does almost every Super Bowl. If a QB is going to get a ton of credit it makes sense that they're going to get blame also. I think Dak is judged fairly for how much he gets paid.

Sure but there is one little problem. You have to get that QB. Getting a top 2 QB isn't a walk in the park unless you somehow draft one.

That's the problem. The Cowboys never spend a high draft pick on the most important position on the team.

Chiefs don’t win that game without the defense, but I understand why Mahomes is getting the bulk of the credit. It’s just the way casual fans can assess the game. Easy to focus on one position versus analyze the roster top to bottom with the coaching staff plus organizational culture. Not interesting to talk about.
