They'll pay him after next season although they can wait to 4 because he is under contract for 2 more seasons. But they aren't going to wait until he's a free agent to try to re-sign him. He's a free agent after 2 more seasons so he'll get paid after 1 more season.

The receiving team can't beat you with their possession. If they make any mistake, you can win with a score. Even if they get a TD, you can match it, and you have 4 downs on every series.

Sometimes games aren't "pretty" despite being a big game it doesn't mean both teams are going to play perfectly. You make it sound like NFL is WWE and it's scripted and they scripted it wrong. Well I think you believe that as well so I'm not sure why I'm wasting my time replying to you.

You can always tell when a game was scripted......when one's favorite team loses, it HAD to be scripted.

Well the 49ers are basically the Cowboys, sans the fact they've experienced heartbreak a little later in their post season journey.

A playoff loss hurts at any point, but to be so close and come up a little short is brutal.

They've had some of the worst heartbreaking losses......on par with the bills!

The flip side of that though is as he gets better he gets closer to getting a vet salary which also means everyone else around him is not as good so you have to play better to even compete. Now is the time for them while he is on a rookie contract.

Oh I agree. It happens all the time. By the time a guy gets good enough to win a SB it’s time to give him a big deal.

Niners blew it. They were a much better team on both sides of the ball. They were dominating early on but allowed KC to stay in the game. Then they failed to close out the game.

Mahomes is not unbeatable in the playoffs. He got blown out by Brady and the Bucs. But the Niners are not winners. No matter how talented they are, they’ll find a way to lose.
