then they scapegoat the new guy which was Wilks. Indefensible. It's the Mahomes effect
Yea that's weird and bad timing. I expect a smear job to be done on his name.then they scapegoat the new guy which was Wilks. Indefensible.
me too. Its already happening on this MB. I've read a few comments like u have. The man got a team to a chip and yeah they lost, but fought hard. He gets fired for it. Seems like an unstable sitch in San Fran.Yea that's weird and bad timing. I expect a smear job to be done on his name.
Dude, you are the one who said it was Unfair. People get axed every day, deal with it and move on. The Boss always gets to make the decisions, the worker bees get to follow orders. Don’t like that then become the Boss. Again, it’s quite simple.no shiet sherlock.
look Im just sayin, the man did his job and it looks odd that the guy running the team on the field gets to keep his job year after year while the guy on the other side is judged more harshly than he. Seems like something deeper there. Why is Shanahan getting a pass? I hope we get wilks here in some capacity because he makes us better day 1.Dude, you are the one who said it was Unfair. the hate is real ...cant believe what I am reading as the argument FOR canning him. Double standards are glaring.Yea that's weird and bad timing. I expect a smear job to be done on his name.
no
Hold your hate. Im not saying anything except it doesn't seem logical. Id hate to be the next DC that comes in there. Unless they hire Belichick or Vrabel, the next dude could get fired as well after year 1. Its a shameful look.
I felt it was a very uncomfortable moment and Shanahan overreacted. The 49ers D did play lights out. I thought Shanahan made a terrible error not running more.Maybe just MAYBE , he should have trusted Wilks and had faith in his ability to call the right D. I mean, they had held the Chiefs to not even 19 points at the time. I think he undermined Wilks cred and felt threatened by him.
I think if my DC got me to a SB I can overlook his personality lol. I do not buy that excuse that Shanahan gave. I think u may agree. Good coordinators dont come around often. They could just as easily get a head coaching gig like saleh and Ryan’s did. Sometimes personality’s don’t mesh, probably the case with wilks and Shanahan.
Really not a big deal although it seems a bit reactionary
THANK YOU. FACTS. Nobody wants to say what u did. But its true. The team needed a fall guy. Enter Steve Wilks, the low man on the totem pole. They needed a pound of flesh the fans, and they got it. I thought Wilks did a damn good job all game.I felt it was a very uncomfortable moment and Shanahan overreacted. The 49ers D did play lights out. I thought Shanahan made a terrible error not running more.
1000%Don’t over think it, offer him a position on the staff.
definitely.May be the mind that gets this soft bunch over the hump against Sad Fran.

If he comes over and after training camp, says that Micah is the best linebacker hes coached, we are in trouble.definitely.
Plus he would know more about how to defend their O. Go get himLet Wilks come in to be the quality control guy over the defense like Edwards was here.
