Why would you ask her specifically about that scandal when she told you her stance already on these things? What are you doing there?
To see if due process should be followed in ALL cases....not just when someone has skin in the game and they like the person.

My question stands as proposed.

I believe in due process for EVERYONE....whether I like them or not

If Jerry and Stephen were smart they would get ahead of this situation......by getting rid of said problem. Cut your losses. Look what that situation did to the Texans.....And there is only one person to blame for this .....and that's Dak himself for putting himself in that situation to begin with. Nothing good happens in clubs after midnight. Shouldn't haven't even been there. But when has Jerry ever done the right thing....Or get in front of something this big? That's how stupid this ownership is.....
I agree with getting rid of Dak. If I had my way it would be done today. Cut him, let’s suck up the cap hit and roll with Lance and see what we have with him or put ourselves in a position to draft a QB. I feel this way strictly based on his on the field play, especially against good teams and the playoffs. He’s the best of the average QBs and if we want to stay average then extend him. If we want a shot at playoff success I feel we go a different direction. I would be very happy with Dak never playing for us again after that Green Bay loss. Just like I’m happy Quinn is no longer around.

Now his off the field stuff, as of right now, the only thing he’s guilty of is bad judgment. It’s not a great idea to bang a woman in the parking lot of a strip club in an SUV. Just not a good idea with the attention he has being the QB if the Dallas Cowboys. But it’s not illegal. Until he is convicted of anything, if he’s convicted, we can’t hold bad judgement against him IMO.

But one thing he is guilty of is being a sucky QB in the playoffs. Let’s eat the salary cap damage and move on strictly based on his playoff performances.

Lol, was she a little crazy? About 4-5 years ago I started dating this woman and she was all sweet at the beginning. She was pushing the physical stuff pretty fast, like faster than normal. There was something off about her but I couldn’t figure it out. But my coaches words kept ringing in the back of my mind. So I took his advice and did not do the deed. Come to find out she was a con artist dressed as a princess and she would have sex with men and then claim rape. She wanted me to buy her a house and was trying to use sex to get it. I said no, she left me, did it with some other guy and after the sex said she was forced and she got her house. Thanks to my coach, and my guy instincts, I avoided what Dak is going through. Well allegedly what he’s going through, we’ll let the police do their jobs before a decision is made. But wow I really avoided some severe pain on that one.

So I’ve done the crazy thing and never again. I’ll stick to walking my dog and playing video games until the right woman comes along. Lol, sometimes delayed gratification if literally a life savor.
After all of this you went through, you should be the most supportive of Dak. Instead, you've done the complete opposite and already charged him. What's wrong with you??? Is it your dislike of Dak the player that drives you to find him guilty before being given the benefit of the doubt that he most likely is innocent and most likely being falsely accused of a heinous crime just for extortion money to be given like the woman you luckily and barely avoided in your personal life? How are you being fair to Dak?

Kind of BS. Young kid on a pro football team with a crap load of money and has some celebrrity status.

Reality is nothing could have happened.

That said, when I travel for work and if some customers are with me, they all want to go out and go to the titty bar and act like kids. My expression has always been for traveling for work is to stick to the hotel bar worse case and NEVER leave the hotel. Nothing good will come of it:)

The alleged victim’s lawyer said in an interview with 105 the fan that there are more women. But none have come out yet and the lawyer is not exactly professional. The lawyer looked a little defensive when he said it so take it with a grain of salt. But he did say it but I’m kind of waiting to see it before I believe it. I’m kind of happy that Stephen and Jerry are waiting til training camp to work on an extension because hopefully that will be enough time for this to sort out. Hopefully by TC all of this will be deciphered as to what is true and false and Goodell will make his unpredictable punishment. I really don’t want to see an extension till all of that is done.
Is the dynamic duo legal team brother and sister or husband and wife? Seems like the woman has more experience under her belt and it's odd IMO that they have the same weird last name (weird for NC at least LOL).

Using the phrase "titty bar"
- can't remember hearing that or using that since the 1990s
Thanks for the laugh!

This is what I find hard to believe about this situation: it occurred in 2017.

Not exactly sure when in 2017; but this was the same year Zeke was going through his legal drama. Would Dak see that and really be dumb enough to assault a woman?

No. But even putting himself in that situation was very, very dumb. I know he's likely matured in the years since but geez.

You would think such as a high profile case like this you'd want to go with a larger firm, but that's just me.

Could be she shopped it around and no one would touch it, but like everything mentioned in this thread, pure speculation.

It would also be interesting when she first contacted the the law firm vs when she actually started therapy and for how long. The reality is the law not only has to look at Dak, but also her.

That's exactly what would put us in a great position to draft a QB, rolling with Lance probably gets us a top 3 pick in 2025. But they need to resolve what's going on with Dak right now. The last thing you want to do is give him some ridiculous extension, and then more women come forward.

I don't care what they do with Dak one way or the other. We're not winning a SB with our offseason approach anyway.

Yeah she could have shopped it around and other lawyers were like “we’re not touching that”. There’s a lot of things wrong right now. First Dak said he didn’t know her, then said he did. Then you got the most unprofessional lawyers working on it for her. Then she does an interview that gives the world her name and tells graphic detail about the assault, if the assault happened. If she’s lying then she’s really putting herself out there for this lie. There’s so many things going on and it all stinks on both sides. But there’s so many red flags in everyone’s stories that it’s messy. I hope due process separates the lies from the truth and whoever did whatever will be held accountable. I just want Jerry to hold off on an extension until it’s resolved. And if they wait till TC then that’s good because hopefully it will be resolved or more concrete facts come out. Let’s let due process happen. Everyone should get a chance to say their peace and have their day in court.

I don’t think he’d be dumb enough to do it. Especially considering his best friend is fighting the NFL for playing time. I believe it happened in February of 2017 but not a 100% sure. I agree with you that putting himself in that situation was very dumb. He’s definitely guilty of bad judgment and I’m hoping he’s not found guilty of a crime. But my gut says he isn’t that guy so I’m hoping due process clears it up.

Outside of that I still don’t want to sign him to the richest contract in NFL history but that’s due to his on field playoff performances.

Let the justice system play out here . I listened to her legal representative yesterday on the fan105.3. There are many cases of gold diggers falsely accusing people of stature to get paid

There are also cases of athletes and other famous people taking advantage of their wealth and power

If he’s guilty then he should be held accountable if not she should be

But for fans hoping for guilt because they want a change at the qb position you’re sad.
She can’t sue in civil court as the statute of limitations is expired she can only get justice in criminal court where she can still report the rape and the DA will decide to prosecute or not based on the evidence. Let’s wait and see what happens nobody knows the truth but Dak and her.
