I think we should hope that Dak didn’t rape anyone for the sake of the possible trauma that would occur if someone was raped. Right now his on the field suckage isn’t as big of a concern as the possibility someone’s life was ruined by him. His goodie goodie image has taken a hit with all this and I’m not falling for his good guy act. Hanging out at strip clubs and banging girls in the back of an SUV is not the guy I thought he was. But that’s just bad judgment, it’s not illegal, yet. We got to let the police and investigators decide if a crime was committed.

But my stance with Dak right now is under no circumstances do you extend him. His on the field play was bad against winning teams and playoffs. Now he’s got off the field drama that could incur a suspension from the NFL and possible assault charges depending on investigation. I’ve said this several times, if the Jones extend him now before this is completely resolved then they are truly the worst FO in the league. And what I mean by resolved is no legal charges, no other women coming forward and knowing what the nfl will do to him.
You sure are looking for anything to charge Dak without proof. Sound just as bad as the haters. Pathetic. No need to act innocent. You've already found him guilty, and we're all seeing it.

Her lawyers are very amateur and not very good. But now there’s a police investigation so it’s going to come down to evidence and if there is any. Having a bad lawyer does not mean Dak is innocent, it just means that she has a bad lawyer. If the lawyer hates Dak for his on the field play, that still is not counted as evidence. Police are involved and if there’s real evidence then due process will play out. We can’t say she’s guilty of extortion until she’s proven guilty, just like Dak haters can’t say he’s guilty of rape until he’s proven to be guilty. This sounds like a high school argument around the lunch table between her lawyers and the media. But the police are investigating so if there’s evidence either way then it won’t matter how stupid her lawyers are.

I think for us as of right now with the limited facts we know is how will the NFL look at this. The NFL can suspend him for nothing. That’s a concern. Also I’m concerned that one of the lawyers stated that there are more women to come forward. That’s scary, if true. Because right now her lawyers are not looking good.
I completely agree with everything you stated.

As far as the womans lawyers stating more women will come forward, if I'm a betting man, I highly dout it. Because they don't really seem well prepared for the crap storm that they started, and I can see them being amateur enough just to make that comment in defense of the crap storm they started. That said, pure speculation on my part, but with thie dream team of lawyers, seems more like watching Fargo.
It wasn't Dak's idea to press charges against this lady. This is the scheme his legal team came up with in response to learning of this incident from her legal team. Until then, Dak intended to put that event out of his head as if it never happened.
Reality is none of us know what happened. The premise of the letter wasn't to inform them of any incident, but in wanting 100 million dollars to make this "issue" dissapear and not made public.

Unless the original intent of the letter was to draw out a lawsuit from the "defendant" and make this case national news (which at face value it was asking for 100 million to NOT make the news), when all is said and done, my money is the woman's lawyers are going to look like idiots and most likely face some kind of censure from their own professional organization.

Nah man Justice will decide his fate but you gotta admit how it's kind of strange that Mr. Walter Mitty Award is being accused of Rape.

No, it's not strange. It's happened to immediate family of mine, and it's no joke to get falsely accused of such a heinous crime. You carry that accusation forever even when you prove it was all a lie.

There are many today famous QB from the NFL to College and currently, only Walter Mitty is being accused of Rape.
I wouldn't rush to judge as even though your Dak loving is extreme we need to let justice tell the tale here.

I missed it.

I understand that sexual assault can consist of rape, but exactly what was Dak accused of in the letter?

Reality is a lot of things could constitue "sexual assualt" and it doesn't have to be rape.

Did the letter sent to Dak mention anything about rape or just "sexual assualt"?

Grab a womans arse against her will and I'd guess it could be considered sexual assault.

Everything is speculation on our part, but I'm guessing the police investigation will find out if there is reason enough to continue to pursue this.

Never followed Dak in college, only knew about him when he got to the cowboys, but has his past behavior ever show warning signs that he would put himself in the wrong position to make news? I could be wrong, but I thought they (Dak and this woman) associated with each other after this alleged incident? I'm sorry, but he raped a girl and the woman he raped kept associating with him afterwards?

One of the first questions if I were a cop is when did she first start going to therapy over this incident? Like I said, I think the cops will find out pretty quick.

There's no Dak loving, hater, but there is appreciation and respect. Some things you know nothing about.

Did you have the same feelings when they did the same type of things to Brett Kavanagh and to the Duke LaCrosse team?

Time to be real....and consistent
Why would you ask her specifically about that scandal when she told you her stance already on these things? What are you doing there?

No clue who Koke Bryant is, but in general, bad behavior can be learned by children through their parents as an "acceptable behavior".

But I will agree that everything you've worked for could go to waste with one bad decision. That said, none of us are promised tomorrow.

I'm pushing 60 and my oldest son in 19.

In my defense, Bryant is a pretty popular last name.

In hindsight, assuming Kobe Bryant? Ironic due to him lying about to the police when a sexual assualt case was field against him (unlike this forum topic, the accuser filed her complaint pretty fast from what I remember within the same month). I remember that one because I thought if I made a mistake, wish I could buy a million dollar "make up ring" to my wife LMAO

Would never try out for a gameshow. I didn't own a TV in my life until I got married at age 38 lmao Never followed basketball either. But yes, you're right, I should have known.

For myself, behavior was always a learned trait.

Editing spelling on a internet forum is much easier IMO than edititing your behavior IMO :)
