No it won’t lol. Nobody cares. At the end of the day teams see what players do here under Jerry’s culture and incompetence and they think they can fix them.
Jerry's culture regardless of how bad it is isn't what causes Dak to be unable to read defenses. That's a Dak problem, not a Jerry problem. And believe me I have no love for Jerry. But Jerry isn't to be blamed for Dak Prescott's incompetence.

Lol you guys are ridiculous. I guess you walk into car dealerships and say "Tell u what pardner, I'll give you $10k below your asking price, take it or leave it!!!"

You don't have to like it, but there is a bid-up market for QBs in the NFL and there is nothing you can do about it.

Jerry holds cards but it is a 2 and a 7 off suit in a game of Texas Hold Em. Dak is going to win regardless of what Jerry does because of the contract our idiot owner gave Dak 4 years ago. Jerry only wins if he finds a QB that can get us further than Dak which is a stretch when you consider Jerry will be in charge of finding that guy. In every scenario Dak wins. but who knows with Jerry. Depends on his ability to find a QB (lol).

Cut Dak right now - Dak would get scooped up immediately with a big contract from Minny, Denver, Las Vegas, etc. Dallas would have nothing at QB and hardly any draft capital to move up to find the next QB. Tons of dead cap space from Dak contract. = Dak winner

Try to trade Dak - Can't trade Dak unless he agrees to the trade. - Dak winner

Let Dak walk in free agency after 2024 - Dak signs a huge contract with another team and all we get is a 3rd round comp pick in 2026. Dumb and Dumber looking for a new QB for Dallas - Dak still has a big dead cap number - Dak is the winner

Sign Dak to an extension now or after the 2025 season - we will overpay for him and probably allow him to have the same dumb clauses in his contract - we may never see any success in postseason - Again, Dak is the winner
Let Dak WIN outside of Dallas.
GL to the lad............

4 year $180 million. Same as Cousins but I would Guarantee $100 while Cousins gets $90 Guaranteed.
That's a $5 Million per year raise from his previous Contract, 4 years $160 Million.
But I would add incentives to reach $50 Million:
$1 Million for Division Playoff Win
$2 Million for NFC Championship Win
$2 Million for Super Bowl Win

He has 2 Wild Card Playoff wins during his last contract.
A $5 Million per year raise for fairly mediocre results is more than reasonable.
If he looks a that as an insult, then I would let him play out the last year of his deal and deal with the consequences.
I'd give him a front row seat to watch his haters load up their moving vans and go off to Fantasy Island, Texans forum and parts unknown.

If Dak wants to be a Dallas Cowboy moving forward then he has no leverage. That’s Jerry’s decision.

If Dak wants to chase money somewhere else and that makes Dak the “winner” then good for him.

The Cowboys winning is all I care about, not Dak “winning” by chasing money on another team.

It's the opposite. This is more like a customer insisting on a $12,000 trade in on a $500 beater.

Sounds like you’re cool paying the Ferrari price for a Corrola just because they’re both cars.

He was better in 23 because they brought in a legit #2, borderline #1 receiver to pair with Lamb. I guess that's my problem with giving him $60m. $50m is more reasonable, but I'm still apprehensive at that number. He was statistically awful in 22, and the results in the playoffs trended downwards. He didn't build on an exceptional showing against Tampa and a decent game against SF. He reverted back to the guy we're used to, at home, against a slightly above average team. The offense failed against a mediocre defense. That's on Dak.

It feels like he's hit a plateau, which is probably his ceiling. The way to circumvent that and find more success is to bring in more talent to offset his deficiencies. How do you do that when you're looking at giving him even more money? We can talk about moving money around and pushing it forward, but that gets tricky when his agent goes after shorter term contracts. So if we can't get over that hump with a stratospheric cap number at QB, and we can't keep the player without paying him stupid money, what do we do?
If he insists on $60 million you let him walk next year. I don't think they have a choice. At this point we know what Dak is. He is a good QB, but not a great QB. He is not going to carry a team to a Super Bowl by himself. The Cowboys need to put players around him and they cannot do that when he is making $60 million. Keep in mind, that $60 million means his CAP impact in the final year of his deal will probably be closer to $90 million after they restructure his deal several times.

And this is why I do not understand why Dallas would wait until late summer to work out a deal with Dak, and CeeDee. By then, they are behind the 8-ball and have to work something out. Unless they want to see how Trey Lance does in the preseason games first. If Dak is locked into $60 million I want to know now and I want to tell him now it is not going to happen. Maybe then they can force a trade. The same with CeeDee. If he wants $30 million I have to make a decision now. Do I pay him and Dak $90 million? or do I trade them now and get draft picks to use in this draft? Having a great WR is good, but I do not think it is necessary to win a Super Bowl if the rest of the team is strong.

I am holding on to me position that running teh football and stopping the run is the only way Dak every wins a Super Bowl in Dallas.

This front office won’t make a tough decision but it’s time to trade him and Kok e on. We aren’t going to get it done with a 60m QB. The window has passed.

my offer to Dak, you have permission to seek a trade with your agent, we can either match or take the draft capital

A All Pro can't read defenses? Feel how you want. I'm just telling you what other teams think. Falcons don't think Kirk Cousins suck. They think he will work with them because they believe they are better than the Vikings. Some team will think the same. Your opinion on him is irrelevant. Teams are not listening to you for roster advice.

Why wait to next year? We aren’t winning with Dak this season. I get that he has a no trade clause but that just means we get a lesser trade deal.

Just because someone is telling you to pay something for a lousy QB doesn't mean you need to run out and pay it. The money isn't going to transform Dak into something he is not.

THat's the thing NFL teams don't have this loser mentality. Everyone right now feels they have a shot at a championship. From the Commanders to the Jets to the Browns to the Jags....everyone.
