No amount of changing coaches or team around him can alter his inability to consistently make good decisions against quality opponents.

He could never ever beat 3 to 4 playoff teams in a row regardless of coach or team support.

It's a reality that management is okay with regarding his possibly one playoff win ceiling.

Prepare yourselves for more of the same if not worse for another 3 years minimum.

That not only summarizes his 8 year contribution but my faith level as well.

Unbelievable.

It is more difficult for any QB to win against more quality opponents. Common sense.

If you have a defense that gives up 20 or less points, is the job harder or easier for the QB?

If you can run the ball for 100+ yards a game, is the job harder or easier for the QB?

Anyone expecting Dak( or any QB including Brady or Mahomes) to score 7 TD's out of 7 drives is an idiot.

My faith in Dak:

- 3 and out
- INT on the 20
- pick 6

Game over.

1) What is your current faith % in Dak?

Hovering between 30% to 35%, if faith equates as confidence.

2) When did Dak make you a skeptic?
Late October/Early November 2016. Prescott was not responsible though. Jerry Jones made me the skeptic. The decision was made to replace an established franchise quarterback permanently with a rookie quarterback, who was third string entering preseason, during an arguable Super Bowl run. Better overall team success since the fateful decision could have lessen or removed my skepticism. That has not happened though.
3) When did he lose you?'
Prescott has not totally 'lost' me. That said, confidence took a nosedive in Week 3 (Cardinals) last season to around 55%. 50% in Week 15 (Bills), and down to where it is presently by the end of the third quarter of the Wildcard Round game against the seventh seeded Packers.

1. Same faith as in GM Jethro
2. As soon as he was drafted by GM Jethro
3. When GM Jethro decided to not try and win

It's simple,
You believe he can beat 4 consecutive playoff level opponents with different personnel support and/or coaching.

I don't.

How many All Pros did the team have this past season?
Did Dak finish second in league MVP voting?

He does less with more imo.
You think differently.

No worries.

Cowboys!

It is very simple and you have no idea what I believe.

I don't believe this TEAM can beat 4 playoff TEAMS.

Are you paying attention to Free Agency???

Are we building a TEAM. I know, I know that is Dak's fault.

What does the regular season have to do with the playoffs. You can't have it both ways.

Dak does not get credit for the regular season correct?

But then you want to discuss how many All Pro's are on the team who earned that from the regular season.

Did our All Pro's, play like all Pro's against GB?

That does not count right, it only counts for Dak.

I'm not a Dak fan, and everyone knows that. But this front office doesn't support him. I'm not going to put the blame on him. He's a good QB. The Eagles, 49ers, Rams, all can get to a SB with him. Because they try to get over the top. We don't.

I'll take it a step further for ya Cowboys fan...

I believe the current GM sucks at overall roster building.
I believe the current HC sucks as a Cowboys playoff HC.
I believe the QB also sucks at playoff football. You could call me an equal opportunity hater of all 3 in my opinion on their job performance.

These 3 ingredients are mandatory for NFL team success.

BUT Dak's sucking is definitely a HUGE part of it.

So if you start a thread concerning faith level in the GM or HC my opinion will read pretty much the same as my opinion on Dak.

And yet my lifetime devotion to that guy with the fedora hat, the Dodger and that star will remain.

I criticize where I see fit and will continue to do so.

I try to hold my criticism back and I think I'm doing well. :p I've never seen an offense like ours.

Same as it has always been. He's a top 12-15 QB, and QBs like this tend to not be able to get beyond teams like the 49ers without a lot of help. Dak is a QB that needs a lot of help that the dopey Jones' family can't provide him.

How exactly did the FO not support him?

1. No competition
2. Allowed him to play in meaningless games for more reps
3. Made the offense Dak friendly by getting rid of Dez
4. Bailed him out by making a trade for Cooper
5. Drafted Lamb and spend the majority of picks on offense
6. Dumbed down the offense with the Texas West Coast
7. Gave him a ridiculous contract with a no trade clause coming off a broken leg
8. No 1 ranked scoring defense in the league 2 years in a row
9. No 1 TO defense in the league 2 years in a row
10. Brought in Cook to spread the field

It's reached a comical state by now bro. How many more playcallers and receivers will continue to receive the mis-placed blame that our divine Sleepnumber deserves?
Oh yeah, and defense, and running back and the list goes on...

lol

I blame the defense. They need to stay on the field more and consume the time of possession. :)
