I’m not worried about a guy who doesn’t rely on his legs getting worse at 31. Not at quarterback. Especially when he just had the best year of his career at 30.
Mobility is one Daks strengths, he fights thru sacks. I think that definitely will wear on him

No sure why you think this a bad move. Let Dak play this season out, if he proves himself then fine but if he has another bad playoff. Then why extend him?
With current off season, why would anyone expect him to play well in the playoffs?

So when we give up 300+ rushing yards next year it will be his fault that we did not score 7 TD's on 7 drives?

How many all pros did GB have when they smacked us up? You can’t be for real….two of our all pros were kickers, one was Dak, Biadiz is gone, Tyron is gone and you don’t have two starting linemen nor a running back and your defense can’t stop the run. You must be high.
The only good players we lost are Tyron, Pollard, and Gilmore.

Fowler, Gallimore, Kearse, Biadasz, Gallup, LVE, and Dorance are all Jags

sounds like you already have your excuses lined up when Dak fails for the 9th year in a row

He may be right. If there are quality free agents still available for cheap after the draft. Time will tell. He also may trade some next year picks like last year.
got to admit it's fun to see what this cat is going to do

Because extending him now gives us cap space and you get him cheaper than what he will cost next year.

The stanleys believe the extra cap space and using it on FAs will somehow lead to this upcoming season being better than the last 8

What a delusional bunch of fans
It’s really funny with all Dak has had thru the years in terms of all pro offensive players some HOF guys but that wasn’t enough now let’s mortgage the future so we can get better HOF all pro players so he can disappear come playoffs, you just have to laugh at Stan’s , just need 10 HOF offensive players and the 85 bears D to carry Dak, that’s not asking too much is it.

No, but if Dak and the offense continue to be ineffective until the opposing team pulls it starters. Are you gonna give then a pass again because the defense gives up 7 tds?

This is the thing: the Cowboys should know by now what direction they want to go in regards to Dak. This is embarrassing.

If they think Dak is the guy, why didn't they extend him and open cap space and actually add to the roster?

If they don't think he's the guy, than why didn't they just cut bait and see what Trey Lance can do before paying him his fifth year option in 2025?

This front office is clueless and without a plan.

The understanding is Dak is gonna get re-signed and he’s going to get even more money next year. Jerry and co. are getting played again and they don’t see it.
Do you have a source for that “understanding “, and I’m trying to be argumentative just would like to see it and who reported it
