That also means no contract for CD or Micah. So you have to hope they are willing to play it out and risk an injury.

This is why, I believe we seen the negative comments CD and Micah's family members. They know they can't get paid this year.

This is GM Jethro's fault not Dak's.

Jethro is not even attempting to make an offer.
I don't think CD and Micah's family members are Dak fans.

I thought he sucked. Why would they agree to that.
Who? Dak or Minshew?
Minshew would be a fill-in starter and the Raiders wouldn't keep him if they traded for Dak.
It's more about the picks. The hard sell would be to convince the Raiders to want to give them up.
Also, it's all about 2025 at this point. Clearing out big contracts. Martin and Lawrence are probably next.

It does feel right and I’m hoping we do trade him to get something for him. Let Trey play this season and stock up on picks for 2025. With Dak at QB 2024 would have been a wasted year because we won’t win the Super Bowl, especially with a weaker roster. I’m hoping Dak blinks and waves his NTC.
Why would Dak do that for an owner that won’t offer him a contract? He requested and got the no trade clause so he had some control where he goes if the Cowboys were no longer interested in his services. He owes the Cowboys exactly zero. And that’s what he’s going to give them. Right now what is best for Dak, and his agent, is to be released. Last time Jerry played chicken with Dak he lost. They should just dump Dak now and move on.

Dak is not accepting a trade. His best bet to showcase himself is to stay in Dallas and throw it to CeeDee and company. He's not going to a lesser team in a contract year.

I don’t think you need a haul. I’m trading my vets so I’m bad enough to get a top 5 pick next year. This team as currently constructed is at least a 9-8 team.

As far as the downside of letting Dak play out this deal? I feel the longer you wait the more the price is.
Not if you don’t plan to sign him.

Lots of LAUGHS (Not that I care) when Prestrash becomes an FA.
The offers will be slim to none at the $ Todd and Dak want and if he finds a starting job he will fall from grace to the bench before his 1st season.
Would this make you happy?

Because Dak needs the help to get better players around him. Plus, $40 - $45 million per year is more than enough for any starting QB to live with. Let's get real now. No QB should be able to handicap a team salary cap-wise just because today's NFL, owners and NFLPA have totally lost control of QBs' ever increasing exorbitant salaries which are crippling teams. It's happening to us right now, yet you choose the player over the team?
But the team didn’t get better players when he was on his rookie deal….so why would they do it now?

Man, they don't get it and they never will.
It's not about Dak, its about the COWBOYS.
Yes my passions for the STAR are next to none!!!!
Seeing all these years the waste of having such an inept QB keep this talented team from glory was a sin indeed!
The STAR and its GLORY above ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enough already!
If only everyone could see years of your Romo lovefest on your Twitter account. You fool no one.
