In his career he's had great games, and he's had his moments of not doing well, we understand that no QB is perfect. With that said, and with all that's going on so far this off season, is there any chance the Cowboys would bench Dak if he hit a slump during the season? Are we willing to sit a player that's making that much money on the bench and waste money? If it happened during the earlier part of of the season, could they be benching him to save him for a possible trade? There's some things to think about. Hear me clearly, I'm not advocating for Dak to have a bad season etc, some may, that's their opinion!!!! In essence, i'm not saying this to be a bash Dak thread, he already has enough pressure on his mind now!! Please give your thoughts!
For him to play so poorly for a long enough stretch to get benched is highly unlikely. That would be completely contrary to his history.

Obviously there are other factors such as the point in the season, win/loss record and what Lance shows in preseason and/or any playing time he might get in the regular season. If the team isn't winning or isn't going to make the playoffs, and Dak still isn't on a contract beyond this season, that's the way things could change.

If he were to get injured, does he get his job back

I don’t get why they’d bench him. If he sucks it’s good for our future. If he’s good it’s good for the present….

You want to bet?

Oh wait, you never honor bets.

Nevermind.
Mistyped. You know what I meant.

Troll much?

Actually, always trolling.
Personal attacks calling people “trolls” and trying to bet?

Thats 2 rules being broken.

Hopefully the right thing is done about it and this gets cleaned up. Because you’re out of control.

If the right thing was done you would’ve been off this site two years ago when you were trying to be Risen. Now you want to play Karen…..

In a perfect world the coach would play the best player available with no consideration of the money they are being paid but we all know that's not the case here. Now I'm not saying Trey is better than Dak right this second, but could he progress to being as good or better?? Who knows until we give the kid a shot. We are paying Dak either way this year.
