Eagles trade Haason Reddick to Jets

Have you seen the list of players the Jets have acquired?

Aside from T Smith, they've signed Mike Evans (WR), Solomon Thomas (DT), Mogan Moses (OL), Haason Reddick (DE), Lewis Fotu (DL), Tyrod Taylor (QB), Javon Kinlaw (DT)...

Looks like Smith may eventually retire with a SB ring
And has AR coming back this season. Jets might be scary this season.

Looky there, the Jets are a team that knows how to go ALL IN.

They should and have to as they dont know how long they will have aaron.
This is a 2 year window for them.
I hope rodgers can stay healthy and play the whole year.

If I was them, I would want a good bkup to play some games to give rodgers time off, so he isnt all beat up come playoff time.

Those Eagles made all the great moves last year and our team beat them.
They imploded. If they had a better QB they would have won the division. Note that within the last 8 years or so they've been to the Superbowl twice. What have we done lately?

I’m hoping the Jets keep Mahomes and the Swifties from threepeating

Glad he's gone. They were gonna lose him anyway, solid move for the eagles.

It's not a solid move at all. It's a bad move from a football perspective. It's a cap dump or a bad attitude in the locker room dump. This absolutely makes them a weaker team and the pick they got back is still 3 drafts away. While there is potential for them, no one looks at their edges as a scary group. With Reddick in the mix they were much more disruptive. Depending on how their other free agent moves (signings vs departures) go next offseason there is a chance they would have received a 3rd as a comp pick any way. There is just no way to pretend this is a solid move unless you wanted him gone.

Agreed! That was a great move by the Eagles. Too bad our FO is clueless on how that works.
If the Cowboys got rid of Micah Parsons for a pick in a draft that they will get a few years from now? We’d crash out on them. This is like trading Amari for a 5th round pick….

Eagles fans will justify it but I agree.
