Jerry already forced me to adopt a couple of backup teams (Lions and Chargers) so yeah I could easily make the switch for Mahomes.

I guess this is what happens when your team becomes a perennial loser. If the Cowboys were the same team as yesteryear this would never even be a thought but here we are.
It wouldn't matter to me either way. I won't ever switch to another team. Once I'm dead it won't matter.

Mayor of Dallas rooting for Chiefs to move back to Dallas

The Chiefs’ future is very much in doubt after Jackson County, Missouri, voters overwhelmingly rejected a sales tax extension that would have renovated Arrowhead Stadium. Before Tuesday’s vote, Chiefs president Mark Donovan had threatened the team could leave if the measure didn’t pass.

Where would they go if they did move?

Dallas mayor Eric Johnson, who repeatedly has pitched his city as a candidate for an NFL expansion team, posted an invitation to the Chiefs on social media.

That's a hard NO from me. Id rather put up with the Jones' any day, than have to look at Mahomes's wife, big goof brother and Taylor Swift.

No, but also , until Dallas proves they can do something again, I am now a Houston Oilers fan (no, not Tennessee, HOUSTON OILERS) where i can lead my own team in Madden 24 and not have to put up with all the heartache and stupid stuff surrounding Dallas. lol

I'm already 80% sold out to the Texans, so sure why not.

Dallas still thinks it's the 900lb gorilla in the room. None of this is happening anyway. Jerry has way more pull in Texas and in the NFL than the mayor of Dallas. Jerry is why San Antonio can't get an NFL team.

That wouldn't even be a thought,50yrs of being a cowboy fan and I'll die being a cowboy fan even though I know I'll probably never see us win another sb.

Let me ask you this....

Are they trying to win?

It's something I look for in picking my favorite sports teams.

It seems the old time Cowboy fans remain loyal. I wonder how the younger generation would feel? you know the ones that don't have memories of championship football to look back on.

The Cowboys and their fans were the ones that originally threw the Chiefs out of Texas.

They were originally the Dallas Texans.

In 1962 they won the AFL championship by defeating the Houston Oilers, champions of the only two previous seasons.

They lost to the Packers in the very first Super Bowl. Three seasons later they won Super Bowl 4, the last one played before the AFL merged with the NFL.

This was 1966 to 1969, the period of time when the Cowboys were just emerging as a future dynasty.

The Chiefs quarterback was Len Dawson, more famous to some as the color analyst on HBO's Inside the NFL. The HC, Hank Stram, was their original coach and was there for 15 seasons. He never had a OC, DC, or STC during those 15 years.

Between 1970 to 1989, twenty seasons, they went to the playoffs twice, losing in the 1st round. Even HC's like Vermeil and Schottenheimer couldn't get them another ring until Reid and Mahomes came along.
