Yes we have some holes that need to be filled, with that said, we have some good players on this team. We have some young players that we'll be counting on as Rookies, and guys that have been here on the team for a few years that we will need major contributions from. With that said, how good can we be, how many games can we actually win with this current team as it is??? Please give your thoughts, let's be positive for once!!

11 wins and possibly the NFCE champs again. Depending how Philly improves, if they do. On paper many have them as winning the East. But even if Dallas did have a great off season as to FA signings. Many would still pick Philly. It is just the way this place is.

Washington could make a big jump as well. They are the wild card that can be a spoiler for both Dallas and Philly. Not to win the division, but to win a game against one of them at the end of the season.

- a starting RB and a handful of rooks on the OL. Sure it's the same? Maybe if Beebe can play a quality C and we have an OLT.
If you believe the team has made meaningful change then I am happy for you. IMHO there has been no meaningful change. Management is the exact same. All of the highest paid players are the exact same. Most of the coaching is the exact same. The biggest change is the DC left and we replaced him with a 70 year old blast from the past.

We will games in the regular season it is what they do. 11-13 wins, repeat East Champions and 2nd seed, maybe 1st seed but we all know what the outcome so, nothing to be excited about.

Thinking 10 wins and a wildcard playoff slot is within our reach, our schedule this year is tough. Our running game looks weaker and holes on defense. Plus the defense learning a new scheme is going to hurt us early on. One thing we can also count on is being out coached.

In-thread question: Should any team--NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, lacrosse, soccer, volleyball, college, high school, etc.--annually strive towards being either good or good enough? Another question: would any outsider (a.k.a. fan) opinion tack on their intangible perception of the team's internal motivation in addition to tangibles as player ability, positional depth, etc.?

In my opinion, anyone can claim to convey a totally detached and so-called logical assessment of how good any team can be from the outside looking in. I believe some variance involving answers to the question are not so much about what any person 'knows' about the tangibles that the 2024 Dallas Cowboys might field but more about the intangibles they think lie dormant and may or may not surface.
