With the team we have right now, how good can we be?

I'd say there is a 10% chance they could get better as the season progresses and get on a hot streak going into the playoffs and maybe go on some weird 2010 Packers wild card run. But more likely, I see them getting better but missing the playoffs. Too many question marks.

Not good enough is right. 10-6. 11-5 if everything clicks but it’s ceiling is a divisional round unless we get extremely lucky with developmental leaps and other things
I feel as if your comment deserves a certain reply. A reply consisting of five words, all in large font, bold type, plus an exclamation mark. Where or why I got this feeling (post 13) is anyone's else. Spooky...

Instead of showing me a post number, please tell me your thoughts ;)

11 wins and possibly the NFCE champs again. Depending how Philly improves, if they do. On paper many have them as winning the East. But even if Dallas did have a great off season as to FA signings. Many would still pick Philly. It is just the way this place is.

Washington could make a big jump as well. They are the wild card that can be a spoiler for both Dallas and Philly. Not to win the division, but to win a game against one of them at the end of the season.
I agree with this. 10-12 wins, first round playoff loss.

If you believe the team has made meaningful change then I am happy for you. IMHO there has been no meaningful change. Management is the exact same. All of the highest paid players are the exact same. Most of the coaching is the exact same. The biggest change is the DC left and we replaced him with a 70 year old blast from the past.
Ah, I was answering your thought that the team was the same this year as the last 3. You're the one saying we should win 12 games again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm hoping for about 10 wins or so, even though it's far too early to make an educated guess. I have trouble picturing a playoff win being too likely. The number of changes on defense might well make for a shaky start to the upcoming season. The running game on offense is questionable, also. Will the newbies on the OL allow for a decent first half of the season? I've gotta wonder about that, too. Nice surprises might be in store if some of our rookies develop quicker than expected, however. To be sure, anything is quite possible, as always. There's always hope, in any case.

Rookies will develop because they will be forced to play.

Bold, jazz. You really think we can beat the streak for back-to-back NFCE champs? There hasn't been a repeat NFCE champ in a long time. Like you said, it's possible.

Yes I do, it has to happen at some point. So why not us.
Even though on paper it seems we regressed, but very possibly not by much, if at all.

Also no other team has improved that much as to overtake us. I know the Philly love and fans on here will not agree. But I don't see it.
Has Washington really improved? So what DQ took a few of our players that probably would not have been back anyway. And just how big of difference makers were they.
Their improvement relies upon rookie QB.
NYG, enough said.

I think with a motivated, disciplined, stable coach they could be an 11 win team... however in their current state with a dead man walking coach they'll be lucky to get to 8 wins.

We will win more than 8 games. Not that that means much of anything. But we aren’t that bad
It's not so much that we're bad but on paper weren't as strong a roster as last season but more IMPORTANTLY the rest of the competition has improved through FA......on paper.

Probably take 5-6 games to see what we've got since we've got 2 easy teams to play in the 1st 4 weeks.
