With the team we have right now, how good can we be?

Yes we have some holes that need to be filled, with that said, we have some good players on this team. We have some young players that we'll be counting on as Rookies, and guys that have been here on the team for a few years that we will need major contributions from. With that said, how good can we be, how many games can we actually win with this current team as it is??? Please give your thoughts, let's be positive for once!!
How good can we be? Probably as good as last year at best. When you lose talent, then don't add talent, you're probably not going to get better. A reasonable guess could be 8-11 wins. But if all the ifs ands and buts turn up roses, this team could be a powerhouse. But that's a very big if. Not likely.

There hasn't been a repeat champ in the division in 2 decades and you think this is the team to do it??
It's a 2 team race. And until Philly shows they are over whatever it was that crippled them last year, then it is the Cowboys division to lose.

Philly was not good last year, but they at least attempted to improve in the off season.
They were good for half a season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can they fix the reasons they imploded? Hard to say. IDK what's in their heads at this point.

It's not so much that we're bad but on paper weren't as strong a roster as last season but more IMPORTANTLY the rest of the competition has improved through FA......on paper.

Probably take 5-6 games to see what we've got since we've got 2 easy teams to play in the 1st 4 weeks.
Same could have been said going into last season. Everybody else supposedly improved more than we did and it meant nothing. And our draft class last season was historically bad for this team

Right now they can compete for the NFC East championship and a wildcard loss. That is the ceiling. More likely they miss the playoffs entirely.

WASH could easily take a huge step forward.
They could but not likely. New system, new coach, rookie QB. We know the center of the OL will be weak. I think they will be improved over last year but I see their cap being 7-8 wins, which should not be close to the Cowboys or Eagles win totals.

We didn't let our starting center and LT walk last season.....that's a big difference

Yes I do, it has to happen at some point. So why not us.
Even though on paper it seems we regressed, but very possibly not by much, if at all.

Also no other team has improved that much as to overtake us. I know the Philly love and fans on here will not agree. But I don't see it.
Has Washington really improved? So what DQ took a few of our players that probably would not have been back anyway. And just how big of difference makers were they.
Their improvement relies upon rookie QB.
NYG, enough said.

That’s fine. That’s not going to swing our season by 5 games in the negative

We are the exact same team we have been for 3 years now. There is no mystery here.
/thread

We may be a little worse and with the tougher schedule, we'll likely finish with fewer wins.

But what's certain is the absolute ceiling is the same-- a quick playoff exit.

I'm expecting them to be better, but also I want to see what the team looks like without Kelce.

Our OL was no longer dominant after Fred was forced to retire. It made a world of difference.

They are open. All those names do not sound like an improvement.
They lost some players as well. If Jerry signed any of those players. Fans would be saying he sucks.
