Who is the most over rated player in Dallas Cowboys history

Elvin Bethea was considered one of the best DT of the 70's and he never sniffed eitehr
BUT according to you he is a bum
truly the worst post of the year is yours
I never called Witten a bum.

I said he was a little above average at best.

And that's not a bad thing either.

He was just waaayyyyy overrated.

Without a doubt Jason Witten.

That guy was a little above average at best. His last 3 or 4 years were terrible as he somehow slowed down.

Stats were always padded by garbage time.
Other than the brain dead timing of Wit and Romo's trip to Cabo, I always liked Witten. But I always thought Jay Novacek was a much better TE and a bigger threat.

Good answer. I like Witten. One of the best Cowboys to come through. But he was overrated for sure. Overrated doesn’t mean bad….just overrated lol.
