While I watched the game at the sports bar near me (and I will be doing a big thread on the game Tuesday or Wednesday about my opinion), including help but notice something. As the game was being broadcast, they occasionally showed the crowd, particularly on extra points. I couldn't help but notice that the stadium didn't look full. For those of you at the game, was it a sell out game? It did not look that way while I was watching the game. And this included the first quarter.

I watched ticket prices all week and they would not budge lower, 15 minutes before the game there were still a ton of unsold seats

It looked about half full after halftime to me. I don't know if it was people still waiting in line at the concessions or restroom, or if they left early because of the blowout.

It looked about 3/4 full by the start of the 2nd quarter. For as much as Jerry was talking about never selling more season tickets, the rest of the seats didn't seem very occupied.

Either Jerry is overcharging, fans are not happy, or a combination. Probably option C
Fans are clearly not happy and hopefully it’s starting to show with the attendance. It showed at training camp with a low attendance. The team has been thrashed and their last two home games. It’s going to make some fans apprehensive about paying the money to attend. Besides you get a much better viewing experience at home with these newer 4K TVs.

I know people who never go inside the stadium. They set up huge tailgate parties in the parking lots.

Yeah, and if this continues and more decide not to show up, maybe it sends Jerry a message?

I was there. It was full. Full of Saints fans

Like, it was sold out? The Saints fan situation just means Jerry gets paid, he won't care about that. But if there were vacant seats, then maybe that can send Jerry a message.
