Damone Clark, Marist Liufau and DeMarvion Overshown

Why did I see Damone Clark and Liafau so much? Where was Overshown? Injury? Coaches decision?

And, Clark did not look good. Didn't need the all-22 to see that.

One of the biggest questions of the day is THIS.

Overshown might have been our best player, period, last week. Not sure how we thought this was better.

Don't know but if I was coaching in that game a whole lot of backups would have got snaps. The game was done in the first quarter. Heck it was done before they even hit the field. Lot of players just didn't show up. Give playing time in games like that to guys who might be needed later in the season.

He's coming off a torn ACL and had a hip issue in camp. I think the coaches know to take it easy on him for the first few weeks. If he's obviously better than Clark he'll eventually play him more

Overshown got destroyed in the run game in the 1st half. I'd expect his snaps to vary pretty heavily week to week depending on the opponent. I was asking the same questions about how he didnt see the field more until I put the tape on and it became obvious that he should not be in the game often against 2wr sets. I'd expect a higher snap count next week as hes probably used to spy on Jackson quite often.

You're not wrong, but thats how bad Overshown was yesterday. He's a plus player at times, pretty consistently so in the pass game, but I think you or I could have blocked him yesterday.
