Yes I noticed he appeared to be much slower compared to how he played in Week 1.The worst linebacker was number 50, he was like molasses

Yep. Agreed. Very poor performance from Kendricks. The worst linebacker was number 50, he was like molasses
To be honest I think Clark looked significantly better than Overshown against the run. Neither were anything to brag about, but Overshown looked like he was a DB playing out of position.Maybe he missed a practice, or showed up late, something happened at practice this week, this is what we look like with Damone Clark, a replay of the GB playoff game
50 did not have a good game and his play diagnosis reaction was slow.....The worst linebacker was number 50, he was like molasses
Dude barely even played in the first half lmao. He didn’t get in the game till we were down 2 scores. Clark & Liufau did no better, & Kendricks looked slow as hell out there.Overshown got destroyed in the run game in the 1st half. I'd expect his snaps to vary pretty heavily week to week depending on the opponent. I was asking the same questions about how he didnt see the field more until I put the tape on and it became obvious that he should not be in the game often against 2wr sets. I'd expect a higher snap count next week as hes probably used to spy on Jackson quite often.
our coaches think they are smart... clearly notA lot was different from game one to game two player/playtime wise. And I didn't get it. LBs, RBs, even DL all seemed to be different rotations than week one that I saw. And I don't know why you would change things that seemed to work for the unknown like we did.
And yet some here say always trust the coaches as they have to know moreour coaches think they are smart... clearly not
Kendricks is the only guy the Cowboys have to play the middle which is an issue I had coming into the season. For that reason he wont be coming off the field much. Clark was nothing to brag about but did OK, Liufau wasnt very good but I think they were both better than Overshown, at least against the run. The guy simply isn't a good fit against heavier packages from the offense. Honestly go rewatch the game and look the plays at:Dude barely even played in the first half lmao. He had no speed to catch them from behind. He was OK if they were running at him, but pursuit wasn’t there.Yes I noticed he appeared to be much slower compared to how he played in Week 1.
Clark and Overshown play different positions. Overshown is the nickel linebacker while Clark is a strong side lb. If you guys would pay attention and not just look at stats, the Saints offense was more of a power run game that played a fullback and two receivers. We sent out our base defense against the Saints because the formation dictated it. Overshown is our nickel linebacker along with Kendricks. By the way Overshown got whipped as well as all of our defense. He's coming off a torn ACL and had a hip issue in camp. I think the coaches know to take it easy on him for the first few weeks. If he's obviously better than Clark he'll eventually play him more
229 at the combine, & put on more weight during this offseason. Are you purposely acting dumb?Overshown is like 208lbs, he ain’t stopping any run game people!
