Brandon Aubrey is really something else. I've been watching the NFL since the 70s and I've never seen a kicker like him.
His leg Strength and accuracy are crazy good.

If our coaching staff doesn't get him the opportunity to break the NFL record for longest FG this season, it'll be a crime.

They should have allowed him to try that 70 yarder vs Cleveland in the 1st game. That 66 yarder today looked like he had 3-5 extra yards in it.

I think Aubrey will break the record this year, but he just needs big Mike to give him a chance.

Makes you wonder how this game would have ended if they went for FGs instead of the 4th and 14 attempt or the punt on the 1st possession after half. The 4th down attempt would have been very makeable for Aubrey, the punt was a little longer, not sure the exact distance but probably 60ish yards.

I feel like Aubrey is overrated. There are plenty of other good kickers around the league (Harrison Butker comes to mind).

Oh, he's gonna get chances. More a result of offensive ineptitude. Not sure that's all on big Mike but feel free to assign as you see fit.
Well the HC usually decides if we go for it on 4th down, if we go for 2 after a TD and if we should kick a FG. He's the guy.

Waiting for a 70 yard Aubrey field goal might be the only thing that keeps me watching this team all season.

Listen I love the Cowboys and they will always be my team, but these past 30 years have left me mentally exhausted. I check out DURING games now and I NEVER did that before....

lol I've checked out before the game even starts!

Still too early to call him the GOAT but I will say he's the best pure talent the NFL has seen in a very long time. Hopefully he becomes the GOAT as a Dallas Cowboys K.
He's one of our few tradeable assets. Hopefully a contender will get him outta here so he can have a great career and maybe help a team win a championship.
