Well, I guess this can be more of a miscellaneous stuff thread. What's on everyone's mind? I'll start. I need an apple.

Basically, I was thinking this could be more of a fireside chat or something where we can just talk about whatever we want to talk about that doesn't really have a topic.

Unlike Alex Jones
Ole Mort was spot on with just about everything he said.
Honestly, I only watched him once or twice, before deciding his show wasn't for me. So I really can't say what his views were, just that he was crude and loud when he expressed them.

I don't judge people on their mannerisms more than what they say. Some people need to be slapped with the truth.
Morton delt with complete morons as guest on every show.

Well, Pizza Hut is rebranding itself back to PH Classic. We are talking about the checkerboard table cloths, red plastic glasses and the original pan pizza. There will even be arcade games like back in the day. Even the pasta/salad bar is coming back. I am pretty excited because it was the best back in the 80’s :flagwave:

I would love that, and it'd be even better if they would have a pizza buffet lol.

That's awesome.

I worked at Pizza Hut my senior year of high school. It was fun. Got a free personal pan every shift, lol, so that was nice. I worked there and Little Caesars through high school (had more fun at Little Caesars). I did the pizza thing in high school and never did dip my toes into the fast food world, thankfully.

I can tell you Little Caesars dough was fresh made every single morning. Pizza Hut ships their dough to stores in these frozen discs. Throughout the shift you would take them out of the freezer, spray this butter spray on the dough disc, put them in the large refrigerator, and then the dough slowly rises and awaits you.

I used to enjoy Pizza Hut, but these days they're probably my least favorite pizza. Hopefully this rebranding will get them back closer to their better days.

Honestly, Pizza Hut is okay, but, especially living in Cleveland, I prefer the local shops. When I'm in Chicago (technically, Rosemont), I like to go to a place called Giordano's for their deep dish (yum!!!). When I go to NJ, I know two places I love going to and have done for years. I got a place right around the corner from me called Gerogios that's pretty good, and I got a place down the street called Pizza Roma. Small business pizza places are the way to go imo.

I try to support local as well. In fact, there is a chain here called Idaho Pizza Company that is amazing. If you're ever in the area, stop by. They're growing very rapidly too.

We also have a guy from Chicago that started a chain called Chicago Connection. It's not deep dish, like you'd think of with Chicago, but it is a thicker pizza with a TON of cheese on it. While they can be hit or miss a bit, overall it's pretty good.

Also, I just love pizza. lol

Well, tbh, even the thin crust and thick crust pizza from Chicago is really good. If I ever go to Idaho, I'd love to check out that place. But yeah, when I go to the convention in Chicago/Rosemont, Giordano's is really good. Highly recommend them if you're ever in Chicago.
