You cannot make this stuff up.

A late 5th round pick at that, while the Cowboys 4th will be early in the round.

It's almost like Jerry tries to make bad moves at this point.

It's like an experiment to see how many bad decisions a franchise can make while still keeping their fans interest.

exactly...Cooper for a 1st, hand him a 20M top 5 contract and then let him go the next year for a 5th who after a few years just got traded to Bills for a 3rd.

like you said, you can't make this up....

You also have to consider the money on the players contract. We may not like a future type of deal, but he is still on his rookie contract. A player like Hopkins, Adams are now moves where teams have to take on money. This is why the compensation is less.

Yes, in fairness the contract has to be considered.

Hopkins is making some decent coin and Mingo has this year plus two more on his rookie deal.

Still don’t think the going rate was a fourth…especially for this team that expects to find immediate impact starters on day three.

what has D. Hopkins done lately? Wait………..never mind…..

This is why there should be mandatory retirement ages. Let the old man enjoy his twilight years with his grand kids on his yacht. He has created generational money for them. But he is clearly not all there mentally.

Will McClay obviously talked him into it. These Bozo’s don’t watch film….

Mingo is cheap.... but yeah. Pretty rough look for Jerry. Especially for what Hopkins, Adams, Cooper, etc. just went for. But there was no way Jerry was trading for a one-year rental with Dak going on IR.

Dang :(

My only hope is that the kid came from a franchise that is somehow worse than ours, and has Andy Dalton as its QB1. 4th is a lot, yes, but he should thrive on this team and our QB. Oh wait, nevermind
