There is still half a season to play. Many of the losing team will play each other and someone has to win. The Cowboys play the Giants and Panthers. The Dolphins Jets and Patriots all have to play each others. Last year the Giants were 6-11 and picked 6th. I think the Cowboys will be drafting in the top 10 which is good enough for them to grab an impact player if they don't do something stupid.Just took a look at the standings. Including Dallas there are 17 awful teams with 2,3 or 4 wins. Have to keep losing. 6-7 wins might land you the 14th pick. That would add insult to injury after this crap show.
Exactly - as long as we don't win more than 5 games we will be top 5There is still half a season to play. Many of the losing team will play each other and someone has to win. I am more worried that this draft class may not be strong in the positions they need. But we'll see how the college season plays out too.
I feel they're just good enough to beat the likes of Carolina and NY unfortunately. There is still half a season to play. Many of the losing team will play each other and someone has to win. not sure what happened to NFL parity...perhaps its being bad parityJust took a look at the standings. Including Dallas there are 17 awful teams with 2,3 or 4 wins. Have to keep losing. 6-7 wins might land you the 14th pick. That would add insult to injury after this crap show.
Look who is playing QB for the good teams then the bad teams.not sure what happened to NFL parity...perhaps its being bad parity
There is a Jones on the NFL Competition Committee?not sure what happened to NFL parity...perhaps its being bad parity
Especially when Jerry is the one buying the groceriesIt's always a bad year to be bad...the draft doesn't guarantee anything, except a reason to make losing, okay.
Plus, our strength of schedule is over .500 which will kill us in tie breakers.Just took a look at the standings. Including Dallas there are 17 awful teams with 2,3 or 4 wins. Have to keep losing. 6-7 wins might land you the 14th pick. That would add insult to injury after this crap show.
Why? I'm kind of looking forward to Jerry getting totally embarrassed in a huge prime time game like this. What better time for that than in front a national audience on a national holiday. It will ruin Thanksgiving for Jerry, at least until he checks his Forbes ranking again. The Giants game worries me.
The draft doesn't guarantee anything? It's the only resource this team cares about. And if you have the possibility to be sitting top 5 compared to top 15 in every single round it makes any win at the tail end of a crap season even worse. Plus it's much easier to trade up or back in that scenario. There are far more positives specially with major needs at key positions. DT, DE, RB, WR, S, OL.. on and on it goes. And now no 4th rounder. It's always a bad year to be bad...the draft doesn't guarantee anything, except a reason to make losing, okay.
