Dallas has plenty of regular season tape on Cooper Rush as Daks back up . But with a starting OL some regular season WR’s and Dowdle at RB why not get regular season tape on Lance and start him Sunday .

What does Dallas lose by starting Lance and letting him have the entire 4 quarters . I remember a couple of seasons ago they gave Will Grier the entire last preseason game to showcase his talents knowing they were cutting him .

Remember a Dallas loss and a win by the 49ers in Arizona and the 49ers draft after Dallas not before .

I’m confused about your post . The 49ers if they win and Dallas loses drafts after Dallas . Both teams would be 7-10 but head to head SF won . I’m not saying tank I’m just saying start Lance .

With Purdy leaving the Lions game with some arm injury they will start Josh Dobbins but they will play to win that’s who they are .

In that scenario (tied at 7-10) Dallas gets the pick before SF in round 1 due to lower Strength of Schedule. SF would pick before Dallas in Round 2, however. Head to head has no meaning in the draft order for record tiebreakers.
