Norm raises some good points. And he is right on them.
Norm raises some good points. And he is right on them.
Later? Is that what you do when you ask me for my thoughts? You read them "later"? Outrageous!!He doesn't hold back I like listening to him talk about this team! I'll have to play this later
Do people really believe that they don’t want to win. I can’t imagine that I think he dreams about it. It drives him crazy.it's not arrogance,it's deliberate malfeasance, the Jones family has decided that they won't try to win the SB ever again.if you think that's hyperbole than see Stephen's comments for next season- same rinse and repeat next year too
I was imagining that it would be just more ridicule. None of us understands what the Jones family is really about or trying to accomplish. It’s all speculation. On both sides of the debate. Jerry and Company would love nothing more than to hoist up another Lombardi trophy. I just don’t think they have The correct formula to get it done. Can someone give bullet points of what he said
i am sure he wants to win just enough to keep the cowboys as the number one franchise in TV and Merch sales.nothing they have done the past decade indicates they are leaving no stones unturned to win the SB.heck they have mostly sat out FA and only brought in guys nobody wants(for almost a decade) and they will do it again next season and Stephen has basically admitted thats the case.Cowboys will not win the SB until the Jones family is forced to sell the team.Do people really believe that they don’t want to win. I can’t imagine that I think he dreams about it. It drives him crazy.
he's really old.How come norm doesn't host the ticket post game show anymore? He was a must listen after a bad loss.
Jerry wants to be revered. Winning is not in his thought process, just his own little self.Do people really believe that they don’t want to win. I can’t imagine that I think he dreams about it. It drives him crazy.
But since he's refusing to take the actions to win, then just how badly does he want to win?At the risk of being a contrarian, I do think Jerry Jones cares deeply about winning another SB, BUT he wants to do it his way. Therein lies the rub. JJ wants to prove he is a great GM and often makes decisions at odds with conventional wisdom or even sound judgment.
At the end of the day, you're judged by results and not intentions or verbiage. The results over the last 30 years shows Jones has come up short... there is a noticeable gap between his desire to win a SB and his actions to achieve the goal.
What's most discouraging for me is that he continues to make the same mistakes with personnel managemet and coaching year after year. To make matters worse, Jones made a huge mistake this year with his "all in" statement.
My mood may be influenced by the blizzard-like conditions we're experiencing. I think I'll make a big pot of beef stew comfort food.
Unless you listen to him. Then it becomes wildly apparent that he is about himself. Not really hard to understand.I was imagining that it would be just more ridicule. None of us understands what the Jones family is really about or trying to accomplish. It’s all speculation. On both sides of the debate. Jerry and Company would love nothing more than to hoist up another Lombardi trophy. I just don’t think they have The correct formula to get it done.
He badly wants to win enough to remain relevant. But since he's refusing to take the actions to win, then just how badly does he want to win?
