Shan: Hearing an offer to Schottenheimer is coming

LOL I cant find the post that referenced Campo.... But if true in addition to the likely Witten hire, this feels like peak Jerry Jones in 2000. Completely off the rails.

And Kellen Moore of all people didn't know that? He got his job because of this same control lol. That's how he became our OC lol.
I'm sure he did, but you don't turn down the interview. You go through with it, state your ideas for the franchise and then make the best decision for yourself. I can't see many coaches wanting to come into this mess as it stands right now without having some control of the team.

Why hasn't he brought that anywhere else. Just stop dude, there's absolutely n9 hope under Jerry and his family of morons
First of all I'm not advocating we hire him . I'm saying, we need to run the ball better and more and play better defense and if he is going to bring that to the Cowboys, I would prefer that than to KM's pass crazy gimmicky offense.

And FYI, he has done this elsewhere. This is from @Brooksey

Coach Schott has 5 playoff wins and two AFC championship game appearances.
He led the #1 rushing attack with NY in 09-10 and (3) top ten offenses in Seattle 2018-2020.

Offense has been top 10 2 times in 14 years. Not impressed.

Broaddus thinks somebody is in Jerry‘s ear about Deion maybe talking him out of it BB says Jerry listens to a lot of people, and he thinks someone is telling him maybe not to do it, but he believes in his own heart. Jerry would love to hire Deion .

Well it was only a virtual interview, and most people will at least hear it out and see what is being offered and verify it.

I'm sure once Jerry mentioned Witten and the contract terms, etc Kellen noped out.

Why would he interview with them just to turn them down? Same goes for Saleh? And all these other guys?
Moore refusing to do an interview would be a bad look for a guy claiming he wants to be a head coach. The next owner with interest may be reluctant to request an interview with him for fear he’d turn up his nose at his team, too.

Moore’s time is coming. I doubt it’s now, sans the Eagles winning the Super Bowl while his offense puts up significant yards rushing and passing.

You always take the interview for the better gig and more $. Doesn't mean you have to accept. Goes for the NFL and corporate world....
I'm not speaking about the corporate world or anyone else. I'm speaking strictly about Kellen Moore. Is it confirmed he turned the Cowboys down or is this assumption?

A lot of coaches do that just to go through the process. He can opt to stay in Philly which is obviously a much better situation.
