Williams has the same amount of sacks as osa and a worse run grade. He'll cost the same so you win nothing. You can't complain about osa vs the run and provide worse run defenders. Yall are insane

PFF is projecting Osa could command as much as $70M. Hell, they also say Poona could get $15-17M. If I can't sign a free agent like Kinlaw, I'm still letting Osa walk and draft his replacement within the first 3 rounds.

Here is our problem in a nutshell:
We will overpay an average player just because of familiarity,
and not take a chance on upgrading the position in free agency,
because of the risk of the unknown.
This is why until we get astute GM,
we are doomed.

Here's one thing to consider - the really good, difference making DTs rarely if ever make it to free agency. Those players are very rare.

That's one reason why Odighizuwa will get overpaid in free agency - the general lack of supply for anyone who can supply a bit of pass rush. Odighizuwa is a good, rotational DT. He's not an upper echelon starter, and definitely has issues with wearing down due to number of snaps played.
