Tyler Booker is a Cowboy

At the time we heard the same arguments about Martin when they picked him. "Love the player. Picked too high."

It turned out pretty well. OL is about the only position this front office picks well.

We just need a starting to caliber RB next.

I mean as they said on tv Tyler smith and this guy. Give dak a clean pocket. We need to follow it up though. Need a rb and a wr.
If the Cowboys follow it up on Day 2 with either Jaydon Blue or Bhayshul Tuten at RB, plus Dont'e Thornton Jr at WR, I will forgive them for the overreach at Guard so early in Round 1.

Except for Guyton that didn't show much last year.

I would have preferred defense but the pick makes sense.

If you are going to pay ridiculous money to a QB.. you better protect him and improve the run game.

Looks like soon the Cowboys will have an entire OL named Tyler. Tyler Smith, Tyler Guyton and now Tyler Booker.

Need to pick up a horse at RB though. Then the set up for Arch Manning in 2027 is perfect. This offense will still be held back by Dak’s limitations.

And you will continue to following a losing team.lol. Even better, you’ll continue to tell us how great Dak is and blame the defense that hasn’t been invested in. Don’t tell me we have Micah, we lost Lawrence, j Lewis, etc. When your overpaid QB gets beat, don’t blame the defense unless Dakota and the offense put up more than 40, bc you don’t have a magical defense that is going to hold teams to less than that in this era.

The player is fine but overall it's just a flaw in team-building philosophy. They have to rely on an OL full of premium draft picks and that means less picks to address other needs that require those premium picks to get the higher quality talent. As we saw with the last era with Tyron, Frederick, and Zack Martin - the bill will always come due.

Should have saw this coming when Jerry blamed the OL for our running game struggles last year. They likely think Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders can average 5 yards per carry with this line.

this G C G group might be able dominate like Leary, Fredrick, and Martin combination

Hey, I'm still upset. Jerry should have taken the trade down offer with the Texans from #12 to #25 and either taken Tyleik Williams at DT (I would have preferred Derrick Harmon but he was already gone) or traded down once again into either the very late 1st round or very early 2nd round while picking up extra 2nd, 3rd and a 4th round picks. That would have given them 5 draft picks to use in late 1st - 4th round to address both the offense and defense.

So you are barking at the wrong guy for the total wrong reasons.

Maybe that's one of the significant trades we're working on. Tyler Linderbaum or Tyler Biadasz for Cooper Beebe.
