***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

What's the deal wit Wednesday? They dropped 4 episodes now and more are coming in September? I want to watch the show but I will wait until every episode is out before I start it.
yeah, split it in to two blocks.

Fred Armisan as Fester and his parts crack me up.

Man, just watched American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden

Highly recommend it. It’s just three episodes long. We all know how it ends but this really fills in the detail and color of how it all unfolded.

The third episode was especially riveting from start to finish.
Already saw it several years ago

Iron Man 3
The Mandarin

The Waterfront on Netflix just popped on the 19th. 8 episodes for season 1, it’s quite excellent.
I have watched a couple of episodes so far. It seems like a knockoff of so many shows with a family owned ranch or business in financial trouble yada yada yada. I will finish watching it but I am not crazy about shows where every character is an awful person. This show is loaded with awful characters. It's hard to find one I can root for. If you ever watched a series called Hightown, you know what I mean. The main character in the story is such a horrible person it is hard to make an attachment to the show.

Plus, I am not a fan of seafood!

I remember liking the first season of True Detective.
However the second season I could not finish as everyone in that serious was a morally disgusting character.

Same thought on those seasons haven't watched since, but supposedly season 3 was really good with Mahershala Ali & Stephen Dorff. Season 4 (Jodie Foster in Alaska) was played up by Hollywood as great but word of mouth was that it was a disappointment.

The Pickup on Prime, maybe a 6/10 but it wasn’t very good. It’s always good to see Eddie Murphy in this type of role but it didn’t land. It didn’t help that Pete Davidson was in it…. :muttley:

Is nobody going to talk about how Bobby Hill’a girlfriend in the new KOTH season is an absolute hero?

The jodi foster one had some good parts of it. But it had some bad too. Not as good as first season but miles better than second season.

First two episodes of Alien earth ends with great tunes.

Black Sabbath with Dio sing the Mob Rules
Second episode, Stinkfist by tool.
I only got though E1 so far. I am not used to watching commercials. Even though I am recording the episodes and forwarding through the commercials it is still annoying.

Looks like an interesting storyline so far. But can someone explain to me why the space ship has CRTs with text based UIs in the year 2150?

I assumed it's a throwback to the original Alien like the padded walls.

I finished watching Waterfront on Netflix. It's okay to watch if you are looking for something to binge. I wouldn't say it's great. It's not really fresh, as in new or creative. As I posted earlier, all the characters are not really good people. But I guess that's what there is in the underworld.

In the time line of the Alien franchise this one falls before the original alien movie. That is why you see some of those crazy screens and computer banks that are basically just a bunch of blinking lights.

I went back and watched the original movie prior to the show and first bit of that first episode looked very similar.
