Very well done. I was 10 in 89, remember alot of that like it was yesterday. However, other parts I guess I never fully grasped being that young. Was great seeing it all again as an adult...with little to no filter. Especially the Switzer parts. I couldn't stand him as a kid. Have a different opinion now.

On a side note...I think I had every starter jacket back then. LOL

So we are now really deep into it! My takeaway that don’t include my earlier on Emmitt are

1).the biggest surprise that really hasn’t healed was Troy not happy with Switzer but many players loving the coach. The SB win showed a lot of baggage but they got it done

2) the Troy other issues that I don’t want discussed but were baseless

3) You can chalk 95 up to w lucky win. Even the players seemed surprised as the game played out: They had lost confidence

4) Jerry was fun and aggressive. He lost that. He’s now just enjoying the fame

5) Stephen went 19 looking to 65 looking real

3) The lucky part of the 95 season was when GB went to SF and beat them. Gave us the NFCCG at home when we didn’t have the one seed.

We owned GB at home at the time, and SF was a great team that went to Dallas during that season and blew them out with a backup QB.

totally agree, but in this modern pro sports era, players are all about "getting the bag" and all of them support each other to get as much as they can. Winning comes after getting their money. Sports has devolved into money over love of the game and winning. Sad.

Not picking on you, Jazz, but it cracks me up that people are so certain that Micah's back injury is fake when anyone who suggested that Dak's 'injury' last season might be fake were burnt at the stake.

For the record, I absolutely think Micah is faking it. He's acting like a 3 year old child.

Saying your back hurts when MRIs come back clean does beg the question of faking an injury.

Dak, however, literally tore the hamstring right off the bone. MRI confirmed the tear and Dak had surgery at New York General Hospital. He was on crutches for 2 months after surgery as well and was seen at games on the sideline hoping around literally on one leg.

Now anybody that thinks Dak rigged all of this has some serious tin foil hat issues. It’s like saying Jason Tatum is faking his Achilles tear when he literally tweeted out a picture of himself laying in a hospital bed.

The bottom line, it’s real easy to say something just hurts, like your back, when there is no test to prove otherwise. On the other hand, it’s real hard to fake an injury like a broken bone or a torn ligament, which can easily be detected with a simple scan.

In week 8 it's much of the same except at one point Dak heads to the sideline without limping and gets his hand checked out. Next thing you know, OMG, he's out for the season with a 'hamstring off the bone' injury. What the......... ?????

Yes, I firmly believe Dak quit on the team and came up with this stupid injury as an excuse. He absolutely belongs in your "will quit when paid" group.

There are pictures of Dak entering New York General Hospital the morning of his surgery. So, Dak paid the hospital, doctors, nurses, to go along with a “pretend” operation?

Dak then intentionally hoped around on crutches for the next two months to keep the charade going even though his leg was perfectly fine?

Sorry, but that sounds very tin foil hat to me, not buying that an entire hospital would go along with this as well as the entire Cowboy medical staff?

Literally hundreds of people would have to be in on this and nobody has said a word, not buying it.

This kind of behavior is certainly not going to win Micah and friends, but maybe he is pushing the envelope so he does get traded? If he knows there are other teams that will negotiate in good faith and extend him now I expect he would be happy to get traded to one of them.

He might be thinking that if he intentionally dogs it, like sleep during a game, gobble down some nachos while sitting on the bench, won’t practice because he says his back hurts despite MRI showing no structural damage, etc…

He can force his way out of Dallas. Next step might be taking downs off, just half-arse it at the snap and don’t even bother rushing. When asked about it, he will say “pay me like a jag and I will play like a jag”.

This could get messy, unlike Dak, I don’t think Mica is going to play on the tag or at least play well on the tag.

The head coach had a chance to show what kind of coach and culture this team has, and the head coach blew it IMO. If the head coach has to question #11 why and what he is doing on the field, he needs to ask him at that moment in time directly to his (players) face and make a decision on where the player needs to go.

That said, perhaps Jerry texted #11 and told him it was a GREAT idea to build up on the drama, who knows.

The head coach knows his personnel far better than we do. He may be trying to quell the drama. You don't always have to yell or make an example of a player behaving incorrectly. Frankly, Parsons shamed himself.
