Pickens' criticism is largely overstated

Both Pick and CeeDee are Prima Dona's. That is what the position calls for these days.

Will there be a moment in time when Dallas has made an Ali type comeback and is in the Super Bowl this year, and Pick or CeeDee, or both, get unsportsmanlike penalties and cost the game?

Maybe so.

But to me, and this is just me, I am going to enjoy the ride. If the team does something miraculous, then fantastic. If one of, or both of these Prima Ballerinas does something to lose the championship, or anywhere along the way, it will still be a great ride with serious hope for this next season. (I believe Jerry will work out a plan to retain Pick. Especially after reading the potential of cap space that could be had if the brain trust - Jethro and Little Anus - do diligence.)

If they fail, the team, then bring on the draft and lets get some defense to add to Williams and other good players we have being held back by spares.

I don’t get the hate. Dude has been consistently great all year. All WRs can be head cases but I think Dez was a lot more problematic and don’t even get me started on Mike lol. Hell even Cooper felt like he flat out quit sometimes

I don’t get the narrative people have with him and he flat out makes this team better
It seriously is exaggerated.

Can you read?

Dez was nowhere as problematic as Pickens has been
I don't recall Pickens being arrested on a domestic violence charge for beating up his mother.

Nor do I recall Pickens being sued for almost a million dollars for failure to repay a loan he used on jewelry.

Has Pickens embarrassed the team with a well-publicized confrontation with mall security?

Does Jerry Jones require a baby-sitter for Pickens when he is out in public, including a three-man security team?

Opponents found out quickly that there is a way to neutralize Dez Bryant. Simply have Jerry sign him to a huge contract. So long, thousand-yard seasons!

One became the franchise leader in TDs while the other one was shipped away for mid round draft picks….

This wasnt just Pitt btw. We going on 6 years worth of crashouts

I would like to stay focused on the issue of which WR is more "problematic".

I liked Dez and he was a very good receiver but at Pickens current age, Dez had some issues. I'm not trying to bash him, I know much of it stemmed from a very rough childhood and he is to be commended for a great career.

However, all I've heard about Pickens is attitude and I don't know if he should have been blamed for feeling underused in Pittsburgh as all evidence seems to point in that direction.

Pickens is having a great season and I would hate to lose that productivity. I haven't seen a Cowboys receiving tandem that talented since Alvin Harper and Michael Irvin.

I hope the Cowboys are smarter than the Steelers. We now have receivers to rival the Eagles, why take a step backwards?

Why was PITT ready to dump him?

Because they still have a Bob Lilly poster in their bedroom.
