It didn't look like it, and I was a bit harsh wasn;t I?Hahaha, had no intention of blaming only the defense. It was just an observation.

"Getting into position for a field goal"...is that your definition of a good QB and offense? FIVE TIMES?But did they get in position to score a fg? That's the question. When your able to honestly answer that without any "yeah buts" or any version thereof let me know.
These Cowboys have a way of bringing the frustration. It didn't look like it, and I was a bit harsh wasn;t I?![]()
You miss the point. As usual. The offense got them in postion to score points, not punt."Getting into position for a field goal"...is that your definition of a good QB and offense? FIVE TIMES?
3 points is 3 points, sure. But it's also a failure of getting 7s. If Dallas Cowboys players and coaches are as elated with it as you are...then maybe that's part of the problem.
I'm not the one making the "yeah buts".
"yeah but...field goals baby! YEEEHAW!!!!!"
"as usual"? Please give me an example...or a couple...of me..."missing the point as usual" .You miss the point. As usual. The offense got them in postion to score points, not punt.
Am I elated, no, and I never said I was. Stop reading your personal feelings into things, you'll be better off for it.
But you can not dismiss offense completely when they did put us in scoring position no matter how much you want to.
The Dak homers are constantly grasping at straws. How does Mahomes get brought up in the same threads as Dak? Mahomes can have bad games and even a bad season. He has 3 SB rings and he's not even halfway through his career. He is untouchable and shouldn't be brought up in any sort of way when defending Dak. Lol.
And for the record, I'm not a KC or Mahomes fan.
Your the same dude who said CD was a wuss for leaving game with a concussion during game day. Stop viture signaling."as usual"? Please give me an example...or a couple...of me..."missing the point as usual" .
It means I disagree with your every opinion...right? It would seem YOU miss the point. Of ALL of <this> .
You are defending "getting into position" for....FIVE field goal. Also not scoing a TD in the 1st half. Also not scoing ANY points in our final two possessions.
I happen to think having to kick five FGs with no TD in the first half or ZERO scores in the fianl two possessions...ir problematic. You don't. SO WHAT? Who really cares what anyone thinks.
No...I'm not blaming just dak or the offense. I'm saying this offense contributes...as a TEAM. They are not above any form of criticism.
"Stop reading your personal feelings into things. You'll be better off for it."
No, Dak stared him done, the CB read his eyes, broke on the ball and hit it up..You mean Pickens dropped a perfectly thrown ball. It was a slant, quick drop back let it go to the guy who told us all hes indefensible in that spot.
There's one guy--chasing 6--that has a serious Mahomes fixation. How does Mahomes get brought up in the same threads as Dak? Mahomes can have bad games and even a bad season. That would be penalties that put them in position for FG's and a conservative Coach, who was afraid to go for it on 4th and 4 and 4 and 3.Your the same dude who said CD was a wuss for leaving game with a concussion during game day. Stop viture signaling.
You may not like facts , but you cant erase them 5 TIMES Offense put team in position to score FGs.
Diva. LOL.An irate Dak Prescott was seen screaming at his sideline during a consequential first-half drive during the Dallas Cowboys' defeat to the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football.
Dallas was trailing 17-6 late in the second quarter when Prescott led the Cowboys down the field on a strong drive.
But multiple penalties backed Dallas up to a 2nd & 25 on their own 42. Prescott hit target CeeDee Lamb for a ten-yard gain, following that up on 3rd & 15 with an 11-yard strike to tight end Jake Ferguson.
It left the Cowboys with a tough choice on 4th & 4 from the Detroit 37 yard line. Rather than go for the first down to extend the drive, coach Brian Schottenheimer chose to take the easy points instead.
Prescott was furious, seen blowing up at his sideline in a rage to go for the kick rather than try and keep their momentum going.
Kicker Brandon Aubrey was able to easily knock the kick through, but Schottenheimer's choice left the Lions with plenty of time to extend their lead.

No doubt the defense was bad. The offense was too. Aubrey is the only reason we scored 30 points. He can hit from anywhere inside their 50. And the 3 turnovers not only led to points by Detroit, but stopped us from scoring as well. And I'll add that if Ceedee didn't go out we still might have won the game. Not that anyone would have given him any credit. The logic that Schottenheimer followed there was sound.
Team was down by two scores at that point and kicking the field goal would bring them within one score.
In fact, that decision helped the Cowboys get within 3 points in the 4th quarter.
Every decision leading up to that point is subjective of course, but they went from 3 points down in the 4th quarter to losing by 14 points.
You cannot expect your offense to score 45 points very often to win games where the other team scores 44 points.
There of course is plenty of blame to go around from the coaches to the players and even the referees, but in the end it comes down to the same thing it has most of the season .. bad defense.
I think he should've gone for it there too. He seems to want to be aggressive, as an aggregate of the year. I just dont know if its the FO who dappens that, media scrutinize, or just growing pains as a head coach. I suspect all 3. But end of half I could see it going either way, hard to trust D if they dont make, especially that game. That would be penalties that put them in position for FG's and a conservative Coach, who was afraid to go for it on 4th and 4 and 4 and 3.
So Pickens has zero responsibility there to protect the ball? No, Dak stared him done, the CB read his eyes, broke on the ball and hit it up..
lol.. how’s he supposed to “protect the ball”, when the CB is right there to make a play coming from behind, toner it perfectly,, because Dak was staring him down the whole way..So Pickens has zero responsibility there to protect the ball?
What is bizarre is not recognizing that Molehill has had a HOF Coach his entire career and a GM that stays out of the way. There's one guy--chasing 6--that has a serious Mahomes fixation.
Any time anyone criticizes Dak, this poster will trot out some bad game or bad stretch from PH, and act like this totally justifies and elevates Dak to being on his level.
Don't really get the obsession with Mahomes, or the reasoning--I agree with your point.
Mahomes could continue to struggle and still it's insulting to mention him in the same breath as Dak.
but you have one poster who things this is a super strong point and will continue to hammer it relentlessly. It's borderline bizarre TBH.
Like I said, its crazy how Reid started winning Super Bowls the minute Mahomes became his starterWhat is bizarre is not recognizing that Molehill has had a HOF Coach his entire career and a GM that stays out of the way.
