Your logic is astounding.5-4 Playoff record.
Behold the brilliance.

Your thought process is superb. Like most Cowboys fans you fall for the okie doke. Bring in a career .500 coach with a recent losing record to change things. Not to mention being an p.o.s. person.Your logic is astounding.
2 championship appearances and a Super Bowl,Your thought process is superb. Like most Cowboys fans you fall for the okie doke. Bring in a career .500 coach with a recent losing record to change things. Not to mention being an p.o.s. person.
Jon Gruden had two stints with the Raiders, finishing with a combined regular season record of 60-57 (38-26 in his first run 1998-2001 and 22-31 in his second 2018-2021.
You want to bring Bill here with his tennie booper Gf and all that Drama No thanks!Schottenheimer came up small against Detroit and Minnesota.
He’s also responsible for the defense, not just Eberflus.
The team came apart in big spots this year as well.
I might hand this team to Bill Belichick for two years.
I agree and hopefully with a better DC he can cork out some of those elements.I don't disagree and there are several elements I don't like about his offense, but I like his offense better than those we had with McCarthy and Garrett.
Didn't Jason Garrett led us to a #1 offense a few timesJerry’s not firing Shotty. He’s the best HC they’ve had since Parcells. This isn’t Madden, it’s the NFL and Schotty led the offense to be the best in the entire league and you want to fire him? Shocking even coming from you.
For the record, I don't like it either.
What the hell. That's what you took from what I said? My Lord. I crave much better than mediocre results. Jerry craves mediocrity. I would not hire BB or someone of that ilk. I'm telling you what Jerry might do.Typical Cowboys fan who craves mediocrity.
Again...I don't want BB but if Jerry made this call, convinced him, it may be something HE would do. Not my cup of tea.
This whole cluster fart of an organization can be better understood if you look at it through the lens of:You know we always yell for Jerry to fire coaches and fire coordinators and it usually never ever happens but is this a time when Jerry throws us all a 3-2 curveball?
You wake up on black Monday and Schottenheimer’s Canned and Bill Belichick is spotted in the metroplex.
Or
Deion Sanders is spotted with Stephen Jones
Or
Jay Glazer is reporting that Robert Saleh will be meeting with Jerry Jones Super Bowl week.
It would not shock me whatsoever. Jerry’s got a dull head coach and a dull football team.
As he says, it’s time to spice things up…
I’m gonna say it’s 50-50. Schottenheimer is back.
Anyone but Neon Deion. You know we always yell for Jerry to fire coaches and fire coordinators and it usually never ever happens but is this a time when Jerry throws us all a 3-2 curveball?

What is the one trick? You said that a couple of times but I’m not sure what you meant.Schottys offense is one trick pony and when defenses figure it out he cant adjust
NoDidn't Jason Garrett led us to a #1 offense a few times
He should be back. He earned it-IMO. Hopefully upgrade the team with defensive talentYou know we always yell for Jerry to fire coaches and fire coordinators and it usually never ever happens but is this a time when Jerry throws us all a 3-2 curveball?

Where you getting that? I think on points per game or just points in total they are ranked around 5th right now and by the end of the season I suspect they slide to 7.Well, you’re obviously clueless so there’s that. Let me ask you this question, who’s responsible for the #1 offense in the NFL?
Sanders has been totally exposed. You know we always yell for Jerry to fire coaches and fire coordinators and it usually never ever happens but is this a time when Jerry throws us all a 3-2 curveball?

Jerry is not firing Schottenheimer because his offense was widely considered one of the best in the NFL this year.
The most likely outcome is they fire Eberflus and bring in a coaching staff that can hopefully give the offense a chance to win games next season.
